Medical Gel Sac locations in Subnautica 2
Medical Gel Sac can be found almost everywhere in the starting region Subnautica 2. You can find this medicinal material often growing in small caves around the Lifepod. The closest instance of it can be found in a cave right below the Lifepod:
As soon as you exit the Lifepod's door, look underwater, and you should spot a round hole in the ground, right under the Lifepod. Pass through the hole and enter the cave, at the bottom of which you will find a pink plant with a green orb in the middle.
The green orb is a Medical Gel Sac. You can pick it up with your bare hands, as it requires no tools. However, be careful not to move away from the plant as soon as you harvest the Medical Gel Sac, as a toxic gas will burst out of the plant, which does some damage to you.
More of these plants can be found in the nearby caves. It's worth noting that you can also harvest the pink fleshy flowers around the Medical Gel Sac using the Survival Multitool. These are Acidic Raion Pouches, and you can use them to create basic batteries and mild acid.
How to craft basic and enhanced first aid kits in Subnautica 2
First aid kits can be made by a manufacturer, and each of them requires a different set of materials:
- Basic First Aid Kit can be crafted with x1 Fiber and gives +50 HP.
- Enhanced First Kit can be crafted with x1 Fiber and x1 Medical Gel Sac and gives +100 HP.
First aid kits are the best sources of health recovery in Subnautica 2but you can too regain some health by consuming some convenience foodsincluding Threemoon Temaki and Pavlova, which recover +15 and +10 HP respectively.
