The Warlord's Jailbreak triumphs in Destiny 2 requires you to complete the Rathil encounter while freeing other guardians from their cages. But this phrasing might not be the clearest, and it might have resulted in a failed run. If you're struggling to get the Warlord Jailbreak triumph, we've got you covered to understand how it works and why it won't trigger.

How to get Warlord's Jailbreak Triumph in Destiny 2

Rathil is the first encounter in the Warlord's Ruin Dungeon. Start by starting the encounter and wait for Rathil to summon an “Imminent Wish”. You will then be teleported into a cage above. Now, look at your friend who is also in a cage, and you will see three Taken Eyes around their cage.

Quickly shoot these three Taken Eyes to open their cage, and they must do the same to you. If you shoot your own Taken Eyes (even one of them), the triumph will fail. If you're playing as a team of three, it's easier to go clockwise; that way, everyone pushes the cell to their right.

Now that you're out of your cell, catch the “Imminent Wish”, and once caught, wait for the timer to run, and then the damage phase will begin. Rathil is pretty weak, but if you can't single-phase him, remember to repeat the challenge above. You have to free your friend from the cell in each phase, not just one of them.
