Zelda is no stranger to breaking out of prisons in The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdomand her stealth skills are above par. One of the best activities in the game is using your echoes to sneak past guards throughout Hyrule. But not all situations are due to her having problems.
Sometimes people will need Zelda's help. Dohna of Gerudo Town wants to test how good her guards are at the Gerudo Treasury, and you're just the Hylian for the job. Using everything at your disposal, we're sure you can show Dohna what you're made of and help her further tighten the security of the treasury.
How to sneak through the Gerudo Town Treasury
After completing the Hyrule Castle rift, go back to Gerudo Town and talk to Dohna east of the palace. Chief Seera has ordered her to tighten security at the treasury, and she wants you to do it test her guards.
The treasury can be reached by enter the westernmost door on the roof of the palace. A Gerudo warrior stands guard just outside and lets you pass when you accept the challenge. Once inside it is a game of red light, green light. You have to get past the guards without being seen.
If spotted, they move faster than you and will
throw you out of the treasury
but you are free to try again as many times as required.
There are two ways to get through the treasure chest: climb over the shelf or sneak past. You can use bed echo or the flying plate to carry you over the Gerudo warriors within, or you can use boxes and pots to block their view.
A safe way to get past the guards is to summon a potty cow and hide Inside. Time your movements so the guards don't see you, and continue jump along until you reach the stairs east.
The Gerudo warriors can jump quite high, so make sure to do that
block their paths with potted trees
or other loud echoes if they are chasing you.
After you go up the stairs, stick to the wall on the right and use potted plants to give yourself a buffer. Climb the shelves to stay out of range and use Tri's extended range to cast echoes in the distance. This will help you create a path to the treasure chest beyond the last guard.
When the guard turns away, run after it. Don't get close to her, though either throw a breakable pot or box to distract her or climb along the shelves to get past her. Open it with the treasure chest within reach!
Although there is
two treasure chests
in the treasury,
just the one on the second floor
is of importance.
When you open the treasure chest on the second floor, you will be was brought back to Dohna in Gerudo Town. She thanks you for forcing her and tells you to do it keep the tax you found. This means you get a new outfit: silk pajamas!
When you wear them, you will recover hearts faster when laying on a bed. This is incredibly useful when you're out exploring or when you've run out of smoothies and need a break.
