How To Get Protocores In Love And Deepspace

Quick links

Although combat may not be the main draw Love And Deepspaceit is still one of the most important parts of the game. Whether you just want to complete events to earn rewards and memories, or you want to complete the main story, you need to build a good battle team eventually. The key to a successful battle team lies in Protocores.

To get Protocores you need to complete daily and weekly Core Hunt levels. The more levels you complete in Core Hunt, the better Protocores you get, and the more Cores you can quickly scavenge for later. You'll be polishing up your teams in no time.

What is Core Hunt?

Core Hunt is one of the five Fighting categories in Love and Deepspace. In Core Hunt, you spend Stamina to enter and complete the battle stage in a combat zone called an area.

Core Hunt has three areas to complete, each with different Protocores and challenges. Each area has ten total levels to complete.

Complete area stages rewards you with Protocores. The rarity of the Protocores you earn will improve as you reach higher levels in Core Hunt. Area one, for example, will always have lower rewards than area ten.

Each area is a special combat challenge that you and your team must overcome. These challenges include waves of special Wanderers and will increase in difficulty as you reach higher levels.

How to complete the Core Hunt

To complete a Core Hunt stage, you must first enter the stage on the appropriate day. When you enter the stage on the day it is open, you choose a challenge to complete. You will unlock more levels as you progress.

You must spend stamina to enter the challenge stage. Each Core Hunt level costs 20 Endurance to enter.

When you enter the level you can choose which companion you want to fight with and what memories to use in your team.

Remember that each battle step tells you what
Stellactrum to prioritize
at the top left of the battle preparation screen. Choose memories that match the suggested Stellactrum to deal more damage to the Wanderers and break their shields faster.

Each level also has one suggested minimum level requirement to clear the scene. This suggestion is for your equipped memories. Stages with a minimum suggested level of 20 will be harder to pass with level two memories.

You don't have to to get all your memories in a team to reach the minimum level of suggestions. You can sometimes pass a scene with one unbalanced team if there are enough high rank, high rarity and high level cards in the team.

For example, I
cleared a level 60
requirements with
two levels 70
five-star Sylus memories, while
everything else
r memories were
four-star memories at or below
level 40.

The same rule applies to Stellactrum. You can pass a level without matching Stellactrum, but it is recommended that you use matching Stellactrum memories to break through Protofields.

When you build your teams, prioritize leveling of high-frequency memories. Three-star memories can be easy to fully rank and level, but even high-level three-star memories will not compare to intermediate level four and five star memories.

Once you have chosen your team, enter the combat stage and start the fight. You can either choose to fight manuallyby using the tactics and skills you learned in Hunter Training, or you can switch between Auto Fight button at the top right.

Clearing a stage for the first time will give you
first clear rewards.

After passing a scene you can Auto-Pursue it. This means you can spend Stamina to clear the stage automatically, without entering. An Auto-Pursuit costs 20 Staminawhile a whole ten Auto-Pursuits costs 200 stamina.

Each step also has three performance requirements to get a perfect three-star passport. If you pass a stage with three stars, you will get a special first perfection reward.

How to use Protocores

Now that you've cleared a few zones of Core Hunt, you can start laying them hard earned Protocores to work.

Protocores can be equipped for memories to give them special stat boosts and sometimes extra buffs and abilities in battle.

To use your Protocores, go to The Memories tab in the Deepspace Café menu and select the memory you want to boost.

You can also see all your owned Protocores at any time by using
“All Protocores”
button at the top right of the Core Hunt menu screen.

A red mark will appear on the Protocore button in the memory upgrade menu to indicate that it has available Protocores to equip.

Every memory just has certain types of Protocores it can equip. You can only use Protocores that match a memory Stellactrum and class type. There are six Stellactrum types and four classes in total.

The six stellactrum types, briefly mentioned above, are Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Amber, Pearl and Violet. The four classes are Alpha (α), Beta (β), Gamma (γ) and Delta (δ).

Memories are also categorized into two types; Solar and Lunar. Solar memories can use Alpha and Beta Protocores while Lunar memories can use Gamma and Delta Protocores.

So, if you want to equip another Protocore
Xavier has a meeting
memory, you would need to use one
Alpha or Beta Emerald Protocore
to match the memory's Solar type and Emerald Stellactrum.

If you are not sure which Protocores would be best to use on your memories, you can use the match helper to offer you suggested Protocores. You can also use the match help in case of improvement your Protocores.

Protocores have both Primary and secondary attributes to use and improve. Both attribute types come affect the force of your memories.

A Protocore's primary attribute can be enhanced by spend excess Protocores and use Protocore Energy (the colorful globes you collect that look like mini planets). Spend Protocores and Protocore Energy will arrive improve your Protocore's primary attributes and improve the status buffs it provides.

For every three levels to you enhance a Protocore, one of your own Secondary attributes will be improves randomly. You can only improve four secondary attributes total, because you can only improve your Protocore to level twelve.

If you have
too many
extra Protocores even after you've enhanced and improved your equipped cores, you can choose to

select the unwanted Protocores
to break down, which gives you
Protocore Energy and Gold
