How to get past the barrier (through the shadows)

Through the Shadows is one of Bellara's companions Dragon Age: The Veilguard. You will trigger this mission near the end of the game as it is the last mission for her. When she's done, she becomes a hero of the Veilguard.

When you complete the quest Through the Shadows Dragon Age: The Veilguardthere will be a barrier blocked by a puzzle, preventing you from progressing to the final task of the mission. The puzzle involves beam generators, a power crystal and a lot of climbing up and down. Here's how players can get past the barrier in Through the Shadows quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

When players go through the portal and get to the next area, players will be faced with a puzzle that prevents them from continuing. To solve the puzzle Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Rook must activate the five energy nodes by aiming a beam generator at each one. But there are a couple of complications, like how the generators on the right side of the room can't be reached.

How to solve the barrier puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard – Through The Shadows Quest

Here's how players can solve the beam generator puzzle and get past the barrier inside Dragon Age: The Veilguard:

• Go left first, ignore the energy crystal and approach the beam generator (1) on the ground floor to aim it at the node ahead.
• Then climb the ladder and aim the beam generator (2) at the node in front of it.

Then follow these steps:

• Go down and take the energy crystal.
• Go to the beam generator (3) on the left side of the barrier.
• Place the crystal on the node and aim the beam at the node above the input. This will create a bridge between the left and right upper platforms.

Once you're done with the three beam generators, do the following:

• Go up the same ladder and go over to the other side.
• Interact with the beam generator (4) and aim it at the node.
• Use the nearby stairs to reach the lower platform
• Aim the beam generator (5) at the opposite node.

At this point there should be one node left above the barrier.

Finally, take the crystal from the beam generator (3) and place it on the beam generator (6) located on the right side of the barrier.

Now that all the nodes are activated, remove the barrier and proceed further to complete the follow-up mission Through the Shadows. Just remember that you have to make a choice Dragon Age: The Veilguard after completing this mission.
