Olive is a new material being introduced to Hades 2 with the release of the latest Olympic update. Similar to other materials, it requires you to perform some powerful new spells, such as Spreading of Ashes, which allows you to store multiple Arcana arrangements in the Altar of Ashes.

Hades 2: How to reach Olympus
Learn how to reach Olympus in Hades 2!
Being exclusive to Olympus, you have to go through a few regions and best a handful of bosses before you get them. You must also have the Silver Spade unlocked before starting. This guide will help you grow olive branches on Mount Olympus and grow them into olives using the soil surfaces at the junction.
How to get olives
The first thing you need to do is to prioritize Silver Spade in your collection tools. You can do this right before going to the surface. Once you've done that, proceed through the surface until you reach Olympus.
Once you arrive in Olympus, start looking for dirt mounds — these are circular patches of dirt sparkling brightly. When you see one, approach it and press RB / R1 to dig the olive branch — similar material like Thalamus, Nightshade, etc.
As previously mentioned, Olive branches are exclusive to Olympusso you won't find them anywhere else.
After you have grew some olive branches from Olympus, return to Crossroads and plant them on the Jordlotterna. You can easily create Soil Plots by perform the spell of the flourishing earth at the cauldron.
You will need complete a total of 24 encounters before harvesting olives from Soil Plots, so go back to Olympus for another one showdown against Prometheus, The Titan of Foresight. And if you're having trouble with that, we've got a detailed guide that covers every aspect of the fight.
