Sizlek can be found in the Ruined Chapel along the Steel Mountains region of Hernand. However, before you can fight him, you must complete the vast majority of the Hernandian faction's side quests. The order in which you do these quests is hard to pin down, given that some are locked behind others, but as a general rule of thumb: once you've completed all available quests for one faction, move on to another.

The quests that directly lead to the fight against Sizlek are:

  • The elder tree (House Celeste)
  • Kharonso Troll Alliance (the one where you fix the destroyed barrier stones)
  • What the stars left behind (Scholastone Institute)
  • Legendary hunter (talk to the Wandering Freesword in Lioncrest Manor)

Once you've completed all of these, open your map and select the Missions toggle to display all available missions in an area. Go to Glenbright Farm (south of Hernand), and you should see the Mysterious Arrow quest marker. Go there, grab the arrow, read the note, then head to the Ruined Chapel to fight the Sizlek. Defeat him to get the sword, his crown, and the Shadow Gloves item, a consumable item that lets you steal items without getting stuck for a minute.
