The Bell is the “expensive” part of the build. You need:

After receiving the watch, open your Construction menu by hitting 'B' by default, or your self-assigned key, and check Crafts and tools Tab. To drop a waypoint, all you need to do is:

  • 1 Fixed Travel Bell
  • 20 Wood

Remember: You need at least two points placed for the system to work. These waypoints must also be placed within a Bonfire's radius, otherwise they will not activate.

How to travel more efficiently in Windrose

If you want to move across the map like a veteran and stop wasting time on copper farming, these strategies will help you optimize your transportation network.

  • The “Secondary World” trick: Since your character's inventory carries over between saves, you can simply create a new world, run east to grab the free Bell from the shipwreck, and bring it back to your main game. This is significantly faster than mining 40 copper ore every time you need a new waypoint.
  • Teleport from your boat: A lot of players overlook this, but you don't actually need to be standing by a clock to travel. If you are steer your boatyou can open the map and click on any placed waypoint to teleport there directly. This is a life saver when you need to quickly leave a heavy load.
  • Manage your comfort level: Avoid placing your Fast Travel Bell directly next to your bed. If that's what your thinking Comfort levelyou will lose your valuable stamina buffs. Place it just outside your front door while making sure it stays within the fireplace.

Final thoughts

While the 10 point limit means you can't have a waypoint on every single island, strategic placement will change your exploration. By using “Secondary World” tricks and when you travel directly from your boat, you can spend less time sailing and more time conquering the world.
