Dragon Age: The Veilguard – The Warden Vault Walkthrough
The Warden Vault in Dragon Age: The Veilguard contains many treasures, so players will want to figure out how to open it.
How to farm money in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Gold is a valuable resource i Dragon Age: The Veilguardjust as it is in all games, as it allows players to purchase important items such as weapons, armor and even gifts for their comrades. There are a few tweaks that players can make on the fly as a way to make gold quickly without necessarily doing so.
Complete missions, including side missions
Perhaps the most obvious tip for making gold fast is to complete the many quests within Dragon Age: The Veilguard. That said, those looking for gold in the early stages of the game should also seek out and complete any side quests they come across on their journey.
Side quests will be easy to identify and spot yellow exclamation marks on the map. These can be attached to any of Rook's companions and will be of particular interest to those looking to romance a particular character, such as Emmrich. Exclamation points are also scattered throughout each of the larger settlements you explore as you progress through the game.
Smash any breakable objects you find
Glowing or flashing objects can be looted by players as they uncover all that Thedas has to offer, but it is the most destructive among us who will discover the true extent of riches waiting to be seized. There is an abundance of valuable items and gold hidden inside boxes, vases and other breakable items.
Even if you only find small amounts of gold, it's worth smashing every item you can to loot its contents. The best places are areas such as marketplaces or shelves of items your find, which you can quickly clear out using Rook's dodge roll ability. To make collecting gold in bulk even easier, the breakables will respawn when you save your progress or leave and come back.
Sell valuable items to merchants
Rook will be able to do business with a large number of merchants throughout Thedas, but only a select few will be willing to purchase items from them. These particular traders are tied to one of the game's factions, so buying and selling items with them will have a positive impact on your relationship with the associated faction.
As you break through objects and collect valuables from wallets and small chests you find on your travels, you will come across a great many valuable items. These are different from resources, which are used for crafting, and are only available to sell to merchants for gold. To check how many valuable items you have, you can open your inventory and check how much you have on hand. Selling these in bulk is a great way to make money in a heartbeat.
Search and open chests
Chests are not only large containers filled with gold, but will also give players a weapon or armor to equip themselves or one of their companions. While you'll be looking for these stronger items for your and your team's charge, they'll also usually include some gold to sweeten the deal.
Just like side quests, chests are also easy to find, as there is an abundance of chest symbols on the game's map. To make it easier to distinguish between the ones you've discovered and the ones you've yet to open, the chests you've looted will appear as opened with a check mark next to them.
