Where to find Sisters of Garukhan
Sisters of Garukhan is a special encounter found on the Spires of Deshar map in Act 2 and Act 2 Cruel of the campaign which gives players +10% lightning resistance when they interact with it each time. Its icon is very easy to miss on the world map, which is why many players may not even know it's there.
Each map is randomly generated in PoE 2which is why there is no direction to go to in Spires of Dushar, where players are guaranteed to find it. But it will always be on this map; you just have to be careful to find it. Eventually you will come across a shrine like the one pictured abzove. Walk up to it and interact to get +10% Lightning Res buff. Be prepared to fight your way out, though, because as soon as you trigger the shrine, the chakram-wielding metal automatons that stood like statues on the sides of the arena will come alive and start attacking. In fact, interacting with this shrine is the trigger for the entire map's automatons to come to life and attack the player.
If you reach the checkpoint near the exit before interacting with the Sisters of Garukhan, you can fast travel to it using the checkpoint near the shrine so you don't have to go through the entire ambush-infested map.
How to get +10% lightning resistance from Sisters of Garukhan
+10% Lightning Res is awarded immediately after interacting with the statues of Garukhan's sister. It is not a dropped item, nor is it a reward for killing the metallic automatons that ambush after the altar is activated, it is automatically activated as soon as you touch the shrine.
Sisters of Garukhan is a recurring encounter in Act 2 and Act 2 Cruel in the campaign i PoE 2s early access. Make sure to activate the shrine twice to receive the buff twice for a total of +20% lightning resistance.

Why doesn't +10% flash resistance activate?
A fact that many players may find confusing is that even after they interact with and activate the Sisters of Garukhan and get the +10% Lightning Res message in the chat, their actual resistance menu shows them as negative, even after they interact with the shrine and complete all necessary measures.
The reason for this is simple. After each file you fill out PoE 2you get a -10% debuff to all elemental resistances automatically (Chaos resistance is left alone). So when you complete Sisters of Garukhan for the first time in Act 2 in PoE 2you will have a net zero Lightning Res, as this buff would remove the debuff your character received for completing Act 1. In Act 2 Cruel, you will have -40% Lightning Res, which will go up to – 30% Lightning Res to complete the Sisters of Garukhan objective again.
To double check if the elemental resistance buffs from the campaign are active on your character, remove all equipment and check your resistances while in the endgame. If you have -40% all Res, you haven't missed anything.
