How to beat Murto during Uninvited In 007 First Light

007 First light has been released, so it's time to put on your finest suit, equip a watch with laser beams, and get ready to beat up a bunch of nameless henchmen. Following the early years of James Bond's career as an MI6 agent, you will encounter a mix of stealth and action sequences.

While most of your time is spent sneaking around exotic locations, sometimes you have to face your problems head on. One of those moments is during your second encounter with Murto in the basement of the museum in the Uninvited quest. Here's how to beat this boss if you're struggling to take down this would-be assassin.

How to defeat Murto

The Murto fight is an extremely elaborate game of hide and seek. You're unarmed, and fighting Murto head-on will get you killed. Because of this, you have to sneak around the basement storage and look for ways to make the environment damage this killer. What you can interact with obviously depends on the gadgets you've brought in, as some are much more effective than others against Murto.

When the fight starts, if you have the laser band or the dart phone, look to the right and up towards the chandelier. Wait for Murto to walk under it before hitting the chandelier with the gadget to drop it on him. This will remove one of Murto's three health bars, so don't worry about rushing him or trying to hit this boss when he's stunned.

If you don't have the Laser Strap equipped, go left instead and go through the gap in the shelves to the section with two massive lamps and wait for Murto to walk in front of one. Use your watch to hack it, make it spew fire at Murto and force him to take damage. There are two here, so if you miss one, just move and wait for him to move in front of the other light.

You can tell when Murto is inside the trap, as a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark appears above him when you look at the boss in your Q-Lens.

Between the traps you want to move quickly, as Murto will quickly scan the area. Be careful as he also has multiple motion sensors throughout the room. If you walk in front of them they will trigger, flash a red light and Murto will rush towards you. These are extremely dangerous, so always keep an eye out when moving around the environment.

But you can also hack these motion sensors to trigger them and draw Murto over to you. This can be quite useful as the room is quite large, and sometimes getting him to patrol an area is a bit tricky. Alternatively, you can always hack the radios around the room to play and draw Murto's attention. Just make sure you're not right next to them when this happens.

Murto has a pretty wide detection radius, meaning if you step in front of him, there's a good chance he'll see you and start shooting. If this happens, quickly move to another area of the room and hide until he loses track of you. You need to trigger three different traps with Murto right next to them to completely drain his health bar.

When this happens, rush over to Murto to trigger a cutscene, which ends with him being defeated. You don't have to worry about any additional phases or a battle section.

After this boss fight, be sure to run into the open room to the right that is outside of the warehouse you are in. You'll find a box in the back right corner that has the Restoration Room Keycard, which you can use to open the door across from you. Inside, you'll find the Tero Murto Locket memento on a table.
