Mecha Break The turning heads earlier this year when it launched an open beta on Steam, which gave Mecha gaming fans an early look at their flexible, high-octane fight among a diverse assortment of hulking mechanized strikers. In addition to lens-based and all-out deathmatch 3V3 and 6v6 modes, Mecha Break Also brought something completely new to the table for competing Mecha games: its PVPVE extraction shooting mode, mashmak. Here, many troops of three strikers compete to overthrow managers – and potentially each other – in the search for mods that can improve the performance of their strikes.
While its game enjoyed a fairly positive reception, Mecha Break met with a fair help from constructive feedback from their open beta players. In essence, it was a concern that Striker Mods gave the players an unfair competitive advantage; Other comments required easier access to the game's system or a reduction in grinding to unlock additional strikers. In an interview with Game Rant, Mecha Break Executive producer Kris Kwok not only recognized this feedback but detailed exactly how the team has taken up each point.

Mecha Break gets rid of the grinding
As expected, Mecha Break Starts with a tutorial with a player who plays out as a linear series of promotion features, introduces players to the core mechanics, concepts and profit conditions for Mecha Break. But many players tormented for a way to skip this guidance – there is a training place where players are free to practice with the checks and test each striker. As such, it was to make the supervision skippable so that players can jump straight into the action was one of the first changes KWOK emphasized:
“We definitely got a lot of feedback during the last open beta. The most important takeaway for us was that players want to jump into the nuclear game directly. They also want access to all strikers without having to grind too much. Another thing we noticed was concern that the courage system may affect justice and balance.
However, a feature of fantastic Seasun games was surprising: rather than reducing the grinding to unlock strikers – the best result that most players probably hoped for – the grinding is removed immediately, with each striker unlocked at launch. Practically eliminating a progression system so that players can enjoy the range of strikers immediately is a significantly player -friendly move, and it leaves the open door for newly struck strikers to serve as more focused progression goals in the future.
Mecha Break's sweeping changes
In addition to Skippable Tutorials and unlocks the game's program list, Kwok pointed out some other important changes based on beta feedback. In particular, the game's mods system will no longer affect the stricts -performance in the competitive 3V3 and 6V6 modes -instead, mods will only be applicable in mashmak, where they are acquired in the first place. It is a welcome feature that should dampen concern that competing plays in Mecha Break may suffer from balance problems due to gear differences. KWOK describes more changes:
“We've made many changes. Here are some:
Skippable tutorials – you can skip them and jump straight into the game.
No functional gathering – we removed restrictions tied to performance. All features are now available at launch.
Free assault supply – All 12 strikers will be available to all players at the launch.
Full Pilot adaptation – You can freely change body shape, hair, color, face and more – at no cost.
MOD -changes -We have removed mods from 6V6 and 3V3 modes to ensure fair play. Mods will only be used in mashmak mode now. “
KWOK also revealed that sweeping balance changes were made on strikers and offered a glimpse of how these changes were contacted: “We look at picking frequencies, profit quotas and performance over different elot levels. Our goal is not to make every striker invincible – we want each to stand out in their own tactical position.”
