There is always something new to look forward to Heartopiaand this time the Call of Whales update takes players on a new underwater adventure. Filled with activities, collectibles, exclusive rewards and limited-time creatures, Call of Whales is becoming one of Heartopias biggest seasonal event to date. Since many features are unlocked gradually over several weeks, it's easy to miss important rewards if you don't know where to look. This guide covers everything currently available in the Call of Whales event, including all fish, bird and bug locations.
How to start the Call Of Whales event
When the Call of Whales event goes live, go to the underwater portal to enter Whalefall Canyon. Spend a few minutes talking to every NPC in the base camp. Each character introduces a different function to the event, and many mechanics remain locked until their missions are completed.
One of the first rewards is Ocean Vacuumwhich is used to clean polluted parts of the sea. You'll also unlock the ocean map that tracks which underwater areas still need restoration.
Cleaning up polluted sites rewards coral, seashells and a bunch of exclusive cooking ingredients that you can't find anywhere else. These materials are automatically added to your collection.
Be sure to check out our Ocean Cleanup Hobby guide to learn how to unlock the hobby and level it up quickly.
Where to find Azure
As always, Azure is the main seasonal event NPC during the Call of Whales event. She can usually be found outside Dorothee's Shop next to the Research Store in Central Town. During the event, Azure also appears at Whalefall Canyon Base Camp along with the other event NPCs.
Azure purchases event materials in exchange for Fashion Wave Tokens. These tokens can then be spent on limited-time rewards, including outfits, furniture, emotes, decorations, and other cosmetics that disappear when the event is over.
How to find big whales and small whales in Heartopia
Just like the Onsen Egg Promise quest Heartopia where we would see an egg daily. One of the most fun side activities in this event is daily hidden whale hunt. Talk to Naughty to start the Big Whales and Little Whales quest. Every day a different colorful whale appears somewhere around the underwater area.
After photographing the whales, you will see a bubble float containing a decorative whale ornament. Tap the bubble to permanently collect today's reward.
Always photograph the whales before searching for the reward bubble. The bubble only appears after the image has been registered.
All Call Of Whales Fish Locations
A bunch of new sea creatures arrive during the event. Most can be caught anywhere in the Whale Sea, while one particular species only occurs in the Neritic Shoal Event. You can start this event by talking to Vanya.
While the Call of Whales event is live, you can't find Vanya in his usual place. He can be found at Whalefall Canyon.
