Critters is one of the most exciting parts of Grow a gardenand they are also what keep players coming back every week for new updates. right now, Gag has more than 180 pets, and not all of them have all of them. This is where the trading system comes in handy, allowing players to trade animals for the ones they really want. Of course, not all animals have the same value; some are rare and in demand, while others are easier to find and trade. In this guide we go over the trade value and demand for each pet i Grow a garden.
Updated on October 30, 2025 by Somiya Addresses: In Roblox Grow a Garden, pets make farm tasks much easier, so of course you want the best ones. The trade list below has been updated to reflect the most requested animals, along with their trade value as displayed in the game's built-in ticketing system. It covers all pets added to the game up to the 1.28.0 update.
Grow a garden's list of pet trade values
Before the 1.17.0 update, Grow a garden players had to rely on the gift system to trade creatures. Gardeners often traded pets and fruits worth millions, but this method carried a huge risk of fraud as there was no proper check or balance in place. That all changed with the introduction of trading tickets, which finally provided a safe and secure way to trade animals and items.
The list below shows official trade value of pets listed on the tickets (mutated or heavier pets are usually worth more), along with their demand based on our experience playing the game.
Keep in mind that the trade value is deducted GaG's systembut the sheckles value can vary and sometimes it will be much higher.

Best tips for trading pets in Grow a Garden
-
When the sheckle value drops so much, Trading for pets is usually worth more than trading for cashespecially when it comes to rares like Headless Horseman, Kitsune, Raccoon, Fennec Fox, Spinosaurus or any giant/mega pet.
-
The developers set a base value for each pet through ticket values, but with the economy being unstable (and players stacked with six million sheckles), selling prices really depend on what someone is willing to pay. Use the trading list above as a guidebut don't be afraid to ask for more when it comes to premium pets.
-
Don't just look at how unique a pet is; demand is what really drives the price. For example, Dragonfly may be divine, but its value has dropped because fewer players want it.
- If you own a titanic or large pet, the price will jump regardless of the standard version's requirements. For example, a Giant Rainbow Peacock can easily be traded for six Kitsunes, so don't settle for less.
- Trust the community. Many players work out sheckle values in informal ways, such as chatting on public servers or on Discord. If you're unsure about a deal, get a second opinion from other players before locking it in.
