Genshin Impact Leaks New Snezhnaya Elemental Reactions

A recent beta change for version 6.6 may have confirmed that Stellar Reactions is next Genshin Impact gameplay mechanic, which will likely debut in version 6.7 before it gets a full launch in Snezhnaya. Ever since version 4.0, Genshin Impact have tried to give each region a gimmick that goes beyond the basics of Elemental Combat. For Fontaine it was Arkhe; for Natlan it was Nightsoul; and for the Nod-Krai it was its lunar reactions. While Arkhe only played a small role in defining the meta of a region, Lunar Reactions in version 6.5 has established itself as the best way to deal with Genshin Impacts playoffs.

While Nightsoul was unlocked for both 4-star and 5-star characters from Natlan, including Pyro Traveler, Lunar Reactions has proven to be significantly more restrictive. Only 5-star characters from Nod-Krai can activate Lunar Reactions across a team, with a hypercarry and support pair designed for each element. Dendro has Nefer and Lauma for Lunar-Bloom, Geo has Zibai and Linnea for Lunar-Crystallize, and Electro has Flins and Ineffa for Lunar-Charged. Columbina, as the Archon equivalent of the Nod-Krai, sits as the capstone for all Lunar Reactions teams in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact Leaks Banner Characters for Version 6.6

A reliable source in the Genshin Impact community reveals which 5-stars will make up the event banner in the Hexerei-heavy version 6.6.

Genshin Impact: Stellar Reactions have been added and removed from version 6.6

In the first build of version 6.6, dataminers unearthed a direct reference to a new reaction added to Diona's ablity kit. The reaction, called Stellar-Conduct, suggested that HoYoverse was developing an upgraded variant of Superconduct, the reaction of Cryo and Electro reserved for niche physics teams. At the same time, reliable sources i Genshin Impact community talked about Snezhnaya introducing Stellar Reactions: three new variants of Cryo that react with Electro, Anemo and Dendro. While the first two were identified as Stellar-Conduct and Stellar-Swirl, the last one's name remains unknown, but is believed to be a revision of Rimegrass from the Imaginarium Theater in Genshin Impact. Curiously, Jelena noticed that HoYoverse removed the reference from Diona's ability kit, but confirmed that Stellar Reactions was next Genshin Impact combat function.

While it remains to be seen when HoYoverse plans to implement Stellar Reactions to Genshin Impactthe seeds of Stellar-Conduct have already been planted. Version 6.6 will introduce two new artifact sets, one focusing on Hex Circle support characters and the other specifically boosting Superconduct. Given the rumors that Sandrone is expected to make his playable debut as an Electro character in Genshin Impactthe timing couldn't be more suspicious.

Unlike previous regions, version 6.7 is rumored to be the last patch of Nod-Krai, and Sandrone is the last silhouette left hidden on the roadmap for Nod-Krai characters in 2026. Introducing her as a Stellar-Conduct support would parallel Ineffa's introduction at the end of Natlan in version 5.8. Additionally, the Superconduct artifact set mentions “receiving blessings from Qosmos on the journey to Snezhnaya,” which echoes back to how previous combat features were teased.

It is important to remember that version 6.6 will not contain Stellar-Conduct in any shape or form and that the patch will focus heavily on Hexerei characters in Genshin Impact. Version 6.6 will introduce Nicole, Lohen, and Prune to the cast of characters, as well as conclude key stories from both Nod-Krai and Sumeru. Version 6.6 will be released on May 20, 2026.
