Gege Akutami confirms Yuji Itadori's next big fight in the Jujutsu Kaisen sequel

Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the greatest modern shonen series, with plenty of exciting elements, but if there's one thing it excels at, it's battles. JJK has become known for delivering some of the most incredible matches in all of Shonen, and its new sequel, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulohasn't disappointed at all so far either. Fans have already seen some minor battles in recent chapters, and they've already shown the potential of this series.

Although it is still too early to say anything conclusive about Jujutsu Kaisen Modulothe signs are amazingly good, and if this is the start, Gege will only reach greater heights later down the line. In fact, Gege Akutami recently started a big battle in JJK Moduloand it's a rematch between the old protagonist of the series, Yuji Itadori, and a very iconic villain, Mahito. Mahito vs Yuji was an insanely emotional fight the original series under Shibuyaand it could happen again in Modulo when they both make a comeback, stronger than ever.

Jujutsu Kaisen has given fans a lot of memorable fights over the years, and Mahito Vs Yuji is probably up there with the best. Mahito and Yuji are two characters with quite a long history Jujutsu Kaisenand they have collided ok several occasions. Their first clash was in the first season after Mahito killed Junpei, but it wasn't their last.

Their real and decisive battle came down The Shibuya Incident Arch. After Nobara and Nanami went down, a huge battle broke out between them Yuji Itadori and Mahitoand it's safe to say Gege delivered. Of course, Yuji didn't win it on his own. He was aided by Todo, and with that they both ended up victorious. However, they failed to kill Mahito exactly. Instead, he was absorbed by Kenjaku and presumed dead afterwards.

Now, over 68 years later, Mahito might make a comeback. In his dream, Tsurugi saw Mahito for the first time. From the looks of it, Mahito is in a place between life and death, waiting to meet Yuji. Mahito is sure to get some highlight, one way or another, be it in a battle in limbo or reincarnation. Given that Mahito is looking for none other than Yuji Itadori, the man who defeated him, their confrontation is a given.

Mahito searches for his sworn enemy Yuji confirms the latter's fate. Yuji Itadori is officially alive and will also return JJK Modulo. When these two characters come face to face again, a rematch will follow. This time, Yuji will likely take on Mahito in a 1vs1 battleand the fans absolutely cannot wait.

The new JJK protagonists are in dire need of a mentor to guide and help them through this ordeal, and Yuji fits the bill perfectly. Yuji, right now, would be over 80, but since he is not a normal human, he may have aged slowly and may actually be at his peak power right now. Both Yuji and Mahito can come back with a big buff.
