Forza Horizon 6 Mod adds Spotify integration

If there's one thing any good racing title, or sports title for that matter, needs, it's a solid playlist of songs.

That's what made the lead-up to the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remastered so exciting, as fans waited to see if the majority of the original soundtrack would be included. Hint: It did, although Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered can't say the same, leading to backlash.

With Forza Horizon 6 out, it's safe to say that the soundtrack is an absolute gem, the biggest of any Forza Horizon, spanning multiple genres, including the additions of Neoclassical (Horizon Opus Radio), Indie and Alternative (Sub-Pop Records), and J-Pop/J-Rock (Gacha City Radio).

That said, if you somehow don't like any of the songs available on Forza Horizon 6, of which there are dozens upon dozens, a fan is working on a way to integrate your personal Spotify.

The Nintendo Music app is quickly becoming my primary music player

What started out as another weird move from Nintendo has grown into a killer music app.

It's a work in progress, but it has the potential to absolutely rock the core of Forza Horizon 6.

Spotify + Forza Horizon 6 is an elite combination waiting to happen

First shared on social media, the aptly titled “Spotify Radio” is a new mod from BigJohn0 that replaces the in-game radio with your personal Spotify account.

“The mod replaces one of the radio stations, mixes songs with game sounds and chatter, and displays the artist and track name on the screen,” the account noted.

It requires Spotify Premium, so if you don't subscribe to the paid tier, it looks like you'll be out of luck. Right now, it's reportedly going through some security and privacy checks on Nexus Mods.

Assuming all goes well, it does exactly what the name suggests – integrate your personal Spotify radio into Forza Horizon 6, making the experience as personal as possible. Now that's epic.
