We will update this guide monthly with information about the current Eggs-pedition Access, including both general information and specific monthly details.
Updated on December 31, 2024 by Christian Pellegrino: Pokemon Go has decided to bring back its monthly Eggs-pedition Access, which will continue into the new year. While this month's edition of Eggs-pedition Access will follow the same format as previous months, there are some notable changes. We've updated this guide to reflect this and provide you with all the up-to-date information you need.
What is Eggs-Pedition Access?
As mentioned above, Eggs-pedition Access is a monthly ticket that can be purchased and gives ticket holders unique bonuses throughout the month it was purchased. Each month the Eggs-pedition Access ticket can be purchased from the game store, costs $4.99.
For the month of January, you will be able to buy this ticket from Tuesday, December 31, 2024 to Friday, January 10, 2025, at 20.00 local time. Once you have purchased this ticket, you will benefit from its various bonuses until Friday, January 31, 2025, at 20.00 local time.
These perks include month-long exclusive bonuses, access to Eggs-pedition Access Timed Research and, of course, a handful of unique rewards. The majority of these features and bonuses will follow an egg-hatching theme.

Access to Eggs-Pedition monthly bonuses
From when you purchase the Eggs-pedition Access ticket until Friday, January 31, 2025, at 20.00 local time, you will benefit from several bonuses in the game. Each of these six valuable monthly bonuses is available for you below.

Get a disposable incubator when you spin your first PokeStop each day.

Serve triple XP when you spin your first PokeStop each day.

Serve triple XP to make your first catch of the day.

Increase the maximum number of gifts you can open each day for 50.

Increase the maximum number of gifts you can have in your item bag 40.

Get up to 150 gifts from spinning Photo Discs at either PokeStops or Gyms every day.
Be sure to take full advantage of these bonuses catch at least one Pokemon and spin at least one PokeStop every day.
This will maximize the XP you earn and reward you with several disposable incubators.
Egg-Pedition timed research
Egg-pedition Access ticket holders will also have exclusive Timed research available to them throughout the month of January. Completing the various tasks included in this timed research will reward you with 15,000 XP and 15,000 Stardust.
With this as timed research, you will only have access to it until Friday, January 31, 2025, at 20.00 local time. Make sure to complete all tasks and claim all rewards before this, as you won't be able to do so after this month is over.
