Weapons are a big part of any Grand Theft Auto game. After all, you can't kill all those cops and rival gang members with just your fists. The upcoming GTA 6 is sure to include a large collection of weapons that you can have a lot of fun with.
Although the title hasn't been released yet, we already know some of the weapons found in the game. They're visible in trailers and screenshots, plus information about the Ultimate Edition gives some stuff away too. Here are all the weapons that have been revealed so far.
All weapons featured in official pre-release trailers, screenshots and the ultimate edition
All the weapons we know so far:
-
Girardi ES9
Jason's signature weapon in-game it appears to be the Girardi ES9, as he has been seen holding it in plenty of promotional materials. It is quite clear inspired by the Beretta 92FS.
-
Klose K-17
You can often see the Klose K-17 pistol being held by Lucia as it is her preferred gun. It looks much like the Bersa Thunder 380.
-
Colt M911-style pistol
There is a gun that appears a few times in the trailers and in a screenshot. The looks a bit like the Colt M911 with the word “Capo” written on it.
-
Polymer gun
A screenshot shows a polymer gun on a desk. This one is customized with gold, but the playable characters may have less fancy ones.
-
MP5
In one of the trailers, both main characters are shown with MP5's during a robbery. This gun has been seen in other GTA games, usually named SMG or MP.
-
Carbine
GTA games often have the Carbine assault rifle, and this may well be seen in both a GTA 6 trailer and a screenshot. But they look a little different from each other. In the trailer, Raul Bautista bets appears to be Carbine from GTA 5while the one Jason is holding in a screenshot similar to the one from GTA 4. So there may be two separate carbines in the game.
-
Bolt-action rifle
There is a screenshot shown two hunters walking in the forest with bolt guns. They have great scopes on them too.
-
Assault Sniper Rifle
A screenshot shows a man with what appears to be a Assault Sniper leaning on his leg.
-
M1A
An official screenshot sees one mud-covered hunter holding what appears to be a Springfield M1A rifle. He's next to the guy with the Assault Sniper Rifle.
-
Mustang .357
A revolver with the words 'Mustang .357' engraved on it shown in one of the screenshots. It is held by a cyclist who has his arms around another cyclist.
-
Grenade launcher
In a trailer you see a quick shot of Lucia with a grenade launcher on the vehicle chasing them.
-
Double barrel shotgun (long barrel)
There is a screenshot shows a man using a double-barreled shotgun on an alligator. Chinatown Wars also has a double barrel shotgun, but it's the sawed off version. The long barreled version in GTA 6 is a rare sight in the series.
-
LMG
The second trailer includes an advertisement for a gun shop. In the ad, the shop owner picks up an LMG which looks like Combat MG from GTA 5.
-
Hawk And Little Morgan Revolvers
A couple of powerful ones his and her revolvers are set to be included in the ultimate edition of the game. They have special Vice City designs.
-
Micro SMG
To promote the current weapon skin you enter The Vintage Vice City pack, there is an image of the Micro SMGwhich is a gun that has appeared in several GTA games. While the tropical shell is part of the pack, the Micro SMG is probably available in the standard game.
-
SMG
As with the Micro SMG, they have used another SMG to show off the tropical pattern which you can unlock in the Vintage Vice City pack. Again, this gun may be available in the standard version of the game.
There are a few items seen in trailers and screenshots that could end up as weapons: a miniature golf club, a baseball bat, a hammer, and a pool cue. Outside of the hammer, the other items are used recreationally in the content, so it's unclear if they will be weapons.

Games that moved their release dates because of GTA 6
No one is saying that these games are afraid of the behemoth Rockstar releases, but we don't blame these games for basing their release date on GTA 6.
