Every character on Elbaf with Supreme King Haki

Devil Fruits can offer some of the most diverse powers within One Piecebut Haki is arguably the biggest game changer in the series – at least in most cases. There are three different types of Haki that have been revealed in the series thus far, each offering their users a distinct advantage over most opponents. Some characters, such as Luffy, Shanks and other notable figures in One Piece world, can use all three types of Haki. But the rarest and most dominant is Supreme King Haki.

In its most basic use, Supreme King Haki allows the user to impose their will on weaker opponents in a way that will either intimidate them or simply knock them out completely. More skilled applications of Supreme King Haki can be infused into the user's attacks, making them incredibly dangerous opponents. Elbaf has been a collection for some absolute powerhouses so far, and of course some of them have Supreme King Haki. Here's a look at who on Elbaf can make use of this incredible power.

Scopper Gaban

The “Mountain Eater” lives up to this name

Scopper Gaban has already shown how powerful he is in his limited action during the events of the Elbaf arc. When the Knights of God attacked the giant homeland, going so far as to kidnap some of their children, Gaban and other giants, as well as some of the Straw Hat crew, sprung into action.

A former member of the Roger Pirates and considered the third strongest under Roger and Rayleigh (although he would consider himself the second strongest), Gaban was actually introduced much earlier in the manga via a flashback by Buggys in Chapter 19. He would also appear in Odin's flashbacks and appeared in the “From the Decks of the World” story, along with Chapterside Crocus 631oon and the Lab story. But Elbafbågen is where he has really had the opportunity to leave an impression.

Gaban showed off his incredible strength when he managed to take down Shepherd Sommers, who had been an absolute threat up until that point, with relative ease. In that confrontation, Gabban infused his ax with Supreme King Haki and was able to decapitate the immortal, which we saw affected his regenerative abilities for a time. He even seemed to keep up with Luffy in their scrimmage, though he broke off the fight when he went Gear 5. We didn't get to see him go all out against Gunko, as she was using his son, Colon, as a shield. But it's fair to say he would have given her a challenge.

Roronoa Zoro

The second strongest straw hat becomes even stronger

Speaking of Gaban, it's thanks to him that Zoro found out he can use Supreme King Haki as well. Zoro had been shown to be able to use it during the Wano Country Arc, but in classic Zoro fashion, he was completely unaware of having the incredibly rare and powerful ability.

Kaido noticed when Zoro hit him with his Ashura Bakkei: Moja no Tawamure attack. He went all out with it in his fight against King, infusing it into his three swords in a stunning display. The on-the-fly application worked well and Zoro was able to take down King after an intense battle.

There's no doubt that Zoro will play a big role in the rest of the Elbaf arc. With Imu and the Knights of God on the scene, the odds are already stacked against Elbaf and its people. Having someone like Zoro there along with the rest of the Straw Hat Crew's Monster Trio can really change the battle.

Monkey D. Luffy

The Future Pirate King is part of a select few

We all knew Luufy was special from the start One Piece. But it's not just his infectious positivity or lofty ambitions that make Captain Straw Hat stand out. Aside from having what may just be the most important and powerful Devil Fruit ability in the series, Luffy is one of a select group of living characters who have been confirmed to be able to use all three types of Haki.

In addition to using Armament and Observation Haki, Luffy is also incredibly skilled at using Supreme King Haki. This not only proves that Luffy possesses the qualities of a king, but it also places him in a very select group of people in One Piece world. Luffy used it unknowingly at first, like when he stopped Sandersonia from killing Marguerite on Amazon Lily, or most notably when he used it to knock out several marines while trying to save Ace on Marineford. But thanks to Rayleigh's training, Luffy can now use his Supreme King Haki to the best of his ability.

You can bet that Luffy will have some tough challenges ahead of Elbaf. We have seen the damage that Imu and the World Government can do during the flashback of the God Valley Incident. It may be too soon for a final showdown between Luffy and the ruler of the World Government, but Elbaf can give us a taste of what a showdown between these two incredibly talented Supreme Haki users looks like.

Imu

One Piece's Final Big Bad?

While not technically “on” Elbaf, Imu is currently wreaking havoc on Elbaf thanks to having Gunko. When he first possessed her, Imus' intense Supreme King Haki was enough to affect several giants in the area and shake up some of the Straw Hats, as well as Scopper Gaban. Even Loki seemed affected by Imu's presence.

It's clear that Imu is in a different class, even when compared to the likes of the God Knights and the Five Elders. We haven't seen much from him in the manga, but with his overpowered Domi Reversi ability and mastery of both Observation and Supreme King Haki, we can see how much of a threat Imu poses to not only the Straw Hats and Elbaf's people, but the world itself.
