Each game added in June 2025

Playstation Plus used to be a subscription service that got you some free games every month and access to other titles online features. By having to come up with something that looked a bit more like Xbox Game Pass, shook Playstation things in 2022 and introduced a tiered PS Plus system. Now there are three options to choose from: essential, extra and premium. Each level costs more than the last, but paying more will have access to more features and a larger library with games.

It is substantially the same as the old PS plus. The cheapest option that lets you play online and gets you a handful of free games every month. Extra gets you pretty much more, opens a library with PS4 and PS5 games you can download and play at the price of your subscription. Last but not least, Premium is that includes everything you get with extra plus access to Playstation's classic library and demonstrations for various new games. Fresh games are added to each level each month, and below you will find what you get throughout June, regardless of the level you subscribe to, as well as links to where you can upgrade your subscription or register if you do not have PS plus.

PS Plus Essential

If you have PS Plus Essential and nothing else you get three free games each month. Titles that you need to claim before they are replaced the following month, and which will remain playable for no extra costs as long as you have an active PS -PLUS subscription. It's even better than this month, as Playstation throws in a fourth game to celebrate days with games.

NBA 2K25 leads the fee. With the launch of the NBA 2K26 just around the corner, 2K wants as many who play the latest game in the series as possible. Give it away for free, and enough people may like it so much that they want to buy the new part later this year. Joining it is still relatively new lonely in the dark with great name actors David Harbor and Jodie Comer.

The fantastic bomb Rush Cyberfunk rounds the base three important giveaways for June, and the final form makes it four. The bad news is that you need Destiny 2 to use it, but the good news is that it is also free to play. The even better news is that as you read this, the final form will be available to claim PS Plus.

If you subscribe to Extra, you not only get free games every month through essential, but you also have access to a library with PS5 and PS4 games. Unlike the essential games, extra libraries and hundreds of games are not only available for a month. They are waiting for you when you want to play them.

Usually I arrive here around the middle of each month to reveal which games have been announced for extra, but this time it is only half true. This is because Playstation, to celebrate Days of Play, adds some games to extra a little earlier than usual. The early June titles included GTA 3's definitive edition and skull and legs, and they are all available now.

Despite this, there is still a regularly scheduled middle of the month's extra drop that comes on June 17 as well, and FBC: Firebreak will lead the way. The action's first crack on a multiplayer game in the same world as control, and the studio wants as many who play it as possible. Battlefield 2042 will join it, probably that EA can remind all Battlefield is still one thing when it starts to frame hype for the next game in the series.

PS Plus Premium

Premium is the highest level for PS Plus and gives you everything mentioned above, along with access to the classic directory. Classics Catalog is where Playstation has collected some of its older games, many of which were originally released on PS1.

Premium's May offer was a bit worrying, with just a single game added to the classic catalog. June is a little more promising, but just because, just like extra, we have some of its monthly games a little early. Myst and grated were both added to the catalog on June 5, and a third game, Deus Ex: The Conspiracy, will join them on June 17.

The even better news for premium subscribers is that the level now has more gambling attempts. The opposite of Classics Catalog, Premium's Trials sounds subscribers in some of the latest games for a limited time. As you read this, Trials for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Civilization 7, both games released in 2025, will be available.

Coming to PS Plus later this year

Playstation has bucking its Bimonthly PS Plus game revealing the trend this year and announced other titles that will come to different levels of its subscription service in addition to next month. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 1 dropped day one on February 18, and band 2 followed two months later on April 15, and that's not everything.

To follow in lost discs were footprints Blue princeJoin Extra in April. A strategy game that promises to tie your mind in knots, the puzzling India is now available via PS Plus Extra and Premium. Abiotic factor Will do the same when it hits PS Plus this summer. Another indie, but this one has six players trying to survive deep under the earth's surface, crafts when they go in an attempt to shield monsters and make their new home inhabited.

Leaves PS Plus

With new games that arrive at extra and premium each month, existing games must leave to make room for them. I don't know why, but Playstation says so. May was a rough for the service, with many games that left Plus. June is not so bad with only six outgoing titles that have been revealed so far, although there is a particularly big game among them – Monster Hunter Rise. If you have gone through Rise thanks to plus, pick up the beat, then pretty soon, you have to pay for it.
