Dungeons and Dragons Reveals Official Actual Game Series Featuring Baldur's Gate 3, Critical Role, and Dispatch Stars

Dungeons and dragons starts his own official game series called Dungeon Mastersand its first campaign featuring actors from Baldur's Gate 3, Dispatchand Critical role. The official D&D Dungeon Masters Actual Play series starts on April 22nd

Now, Dungeons and dragons itself is getting ready to debut a new long-form actual game series. Dungeon Masters will contain official D&D content, both current and unreleased, custom sets, cinematic presentation, high production design, and even an original score by David Arkenstone, a well-known composer who produces fantasy music for many games, including almost all World of Warcraft expansion through Midnight. After each episode, Dungeons and dragons will be sharing “Play-Along Packs” inspired by in-game action, so DMs can follow along with similar battle encounters at their own table.

The first campaign of Dungeon Masters called “Ashes of the Black Rose”. Four adventurers find themselves trapped in the Ravenloft Domain of Dread ruled by the Death Knight, Lord Soth, and must find a way to escape the apocalyptic environment. The campaign will use content from Ravenloft: The Horrors Withinthe new D&D book coming out on June 16 – most of the star-studded cast Dungeon Masters Campaign 1 will even play subclasses from it.

Christian Navarro appeared as a guest star on Critical role as FRIDA, Hector played in Date everything!and has appeared in several shows and movies, including as Tony in 13 reasons why. Meanwhile, Mayanna Berrin recorded Pom Pom Dispatchwhile Jasmine Bhullar has a long history of DM gigs Dimension 20, DesiQuestand Battle for Beyondand served as writer and cultural advisor for the Continent Marquet for Critical role.

The first two episodes of Dungeon Masters will be released on April 22nd at 6:30pm PT, with new episodes simulcasting on subsequent Wednesdays. Right now, the episode run time and campaign length of “Ashes of the Black Rose” is unknown. That said, this is just the first of many campaigns Dungeon Masters will produce with the help of official D&D settings and rules, so fans should be sure to tune into this show and see how this is new Dungeons and dragons measure up to their competitors and predecessors.
