It's not often that Diablo 4 players want to avoid using specific skills, as most have their place in some sort of build. However in Diablo 4 Season 11, the best Sorcerer builds are probably better off spending their skill points elsewhere as they approach level 60. While these skills aren't necessarily bad—far from it, in fact—Sorcerers can access an even more powerful setup without them in Season 11.
While the overall power level is built in Diablo 4 Season 11 will likely be lower without Chaos Armor and Chaos Perks, several builds can still thrive thanks to great new Uniques this season. Spiritborn and Rogue are in position to be the best classes in Diablo 4 Season 11, but players shouldn't sleep on Sorcerer either. With the new Orsivane, the Unique Mace looks like a must-have weapon for several Sorcerer builds, but it requires players to eschew all defensive skills to get the most out of this unique.
Diablo 4 Season 11 Sorcerers should keep defensive skills out of their field of action

Teleport
There are four defensive skills on the Sorcerer's Skill Tree i Diablo 4and most builds tend to incorporate at least one into their combat rotation. Because Sorcerers tend to be one of the Diablo 4s weaker classes, defensive skills are an important part of a build's survivability. With Orsivane, Diablo 4 Wizards can still access the benefits of these Defensive Skills' Enchantments, but reap even greater rewards by keeping them off their Action Bar.

Additionally, they can still access all four of these defensive skills' enchantment effects as long as they keep them off the Action Bar. These enchantment skills include:

These Sorcerer builds can take full advantage of Orsivane in Diablo 4 Season 11
-
Ball Lightning Sorcerer
-
Crackling energy wizard
-
Ice Shards Sorcerer
Since Orsivane is a One-Handed Mace, builds that use a one-handed weapon in the Sorcerer's main hand and a Focus in their off hand will be the most successful. Ball Lightning Sorcerers will get the most out of using Orsivane, as they can use Unique Focus Okun's Catalyst along with it for an AoE Ball Lightning that surrounds the Sorcerer and damages nearby enemies. Although Crackling Energy and Ice Shards Sorcerers do not have as powerful synergy with Orsivane, they can still use it effectively.
Typically these builds need multiple defensive skills on the Action Bar to be effective. But keeping them off the Action Bar in Season 11 increases the overall damage of the build and opens the door for more offensive skills to be used instead, giving the class even more of a damage bonus from the Sorcerer's Elemental Synergies passive. Plus having the enchantment effects of these skills for no cost makes up for not having their primary effects available on the Action Bar.
