Rockstar Games founder Dan Houser has confirmed that he was not part of the author's room for Grand Theft Auto 6. Houser left Rockstar game over half a decade ago, but many fans wondered if he contributed to GTA 6 In some capacity before his departure – a question he has now raised.
Houser, along with his brother Sam (current president of Rockstar Games), has remained almost completely out of the public eye since the end of the 1990s and preferred to let Rockstar's play speak for themselves. Outside rare statements such as Sam's first announcement of GTA 6 Trailer 1, Houser Brothers has gained a reputation for secret. Dan, however, suddenly left Rockstar game in February 2020, which, in view of his writing credits for 12 Gta Games and both Red Dead Redemption Titles, bred concerns among some fans.

Although Houser admitted that it would feel “weird” to play a new Gta games without knowing his full story, he's still sure that GTA 6 “Will be good.” From both GTA 6 Trailers like Rockstar so far have released, the game seems no less potent than previous series to weave a compelling story in a well -executed parody of the real world. It was also during this interview that Houser spilled the beans on why Bully 2 never happened, and says Rockstar game was scattered for thin with titles like GTA 5The Red Dead RedemptionThe La Noireand Max Payne 3 To take on another big project.
GTA 6 Is scheduled to be launched on May 26, 2026, and it should be interesting to see how good the writing of Rockstar's first new game post Dan Houser's output holds up.
