Transmen's rights have been an increasingly falsified issue in recent years, with various legislative measures and political pressure designed to sideways transgender people from everyday life. Now a 400-strong group of entertainment workers have signed an open letter to Britain's film & TV on trans rights.

The letter is designed to express solidarity with trans-, non-binary and intersex people affected by the Supreme Court's decision in the United Kingdom. The judgment emphasized that a woman who is protected by legal definition only extends to those born female and has been used to claim that trans women are therefore legally prohibited from public spaces (which remain after individual companies). One name on the list, however, is to grab the headings – Paapa Essiedu.
Over 400 professionals have signed the open letter for translats
Essiedu has been cast as Snape in the upcoming TV start by Harry Potter, a series that is synonymous with the battle against trans rights. Series creator JK Rowling, who still has creative approval over and direct income from each project, is one of the highest anti-trans votes in the UK and published a picture of itself that smokes a cigar on a yacht with the caption “I love it when a plan is collected” after the Supreme Court's decision was adopted.
It should also be noted that Essiedu has received abundant racial abuse from alleged Harry Potter fans for taking the role also because it is black (and Snape is white). It is obvious that no matter how you feel for his decision to adapt to the franchise and its figure head, this abuse is discouraged and undeserved.
Many have criticized Essiedu for apparently playing both sides, raising their profile and lining their pockets through direct support for Rowling and her platform, while paying lip service to the trans community. Other names on this list, such as Derry Girls' and Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan, have been more viciously critical of Rowling and says she would not touch the Harry Potter project “With a Pol”.
“The Supreme Court's decision, according to the Equality Act,” woman “is defined by biological gender, says that” the concept of gender is binary, a person is either a woman or a man “,” the letter, which can be found in its entirety here, reads. “We believe that the decision undermines it lived reality and threatens the security of trans-, non-binary and intersex living in the UK.”
“The Equalities & Human Rights Commission's Interim Update on the Ruling States that trans women are not permitted access to women's facilities and trans but are not permitted access to men's facilities, while further suggesting that trans people may also also to their biological sex. We Believe this Guidance Exposes Trans People to Embarrassment and Harassment, and Excludes Them From Participation in Public Life. “

The last of us fans mixed when the TV show writes about Dina's sexuality
You claim that she is “just curious” in the last of us, but fans are worried what it might mean to her and Ellie's relationship.
Also on the list in Bella Ramsey, best known for playing Ellie in the last of us at HBO. Ramsey is one of the most remarkable non-binary actors on television, along with House of the Dragon's Emma d'Arcy and Yellowjacket's life Hewson. Ramsey's co -star Pedro Pascal recently called Rowling and noticed her a “loser” for her behavior towards the trans community.
How closely adapted Rowling is that Harry Potter was a great battle with the publication of Hogwarts Legacy as well, when many places avoided covering the game or did so with heavy discharge regarding Rowling's continued campaign against transgender people. With the question of transmitters in an even greater limelight today than a few years ago, we are likely to see similar reporting on the TV series, which remains indelibly bound to JK Rowling, and therefore indelibly bound to Transgender Liberty.
