This altar gives access to various Arcana cards, which are purchased with Ash, activated with grip and then upgraded with Mondmamm and various other valuable objects. In short, growing and equip the right Arcana card is a long process that requires a lot of effort.

Arcana Basics

Hades 2 Arcana - The Messenger.

There is 27 Arcana card to unlock on Altar At the intersection, even if you will only have a small selection to begin with. When you unlock these cards, hidden cards on the sides will be revealed until you have a whole five-by-five grid. To unlock these cards cost ashAnd sometimes other important resources.

However, unlocking these cards is just the first step. You must then 'Activate' these cards. Cards have one 'Grip“Cost associated with them, and you can see your total pool of grip on the Arcana screen on the right. To increase your total grip pool you have to spend Psyche. The cost of increasing your grip pool is increasing sharply as your pool expands.

Both Ash and Psyche can both be acquired during your nightly runs.

Many of these cards have Zero grip requirements – instead they have alternative requirements Before they are activated:

Centaur

Activate at least one card of each grip costs from 1 to 5.

The queen

Active no more than 2 cards that have the same grip cost.

The moon

Activate all surrounding cards.

Fate

Activate all surrounding cards.

Divinity

Activate all 5 cards in any other line.

Judgment

Activate a maximum of 3 cards in total.

Arcana upgrades

At the cauldron in Hades 2.

When you reach a certain point in the game, after unlocking a lot of Arcana cards, you will receive the incantation recipe Inauguration of ashwhich requires six boxes, six deserted fabrics and a cinder. This will unlock the ability to upgrade your Arcana cards up to twice each, making them stronger.

The main resource required to upgrade card is Mondmamas acquired from alchemy at the cauldron and from Miserable brokers, along with some deserted list rewards.
