This weapon is a bit difficult to use at first, but once you get enough accessories it will start shooting like an absolute dream.

Like most SMGs in Delta ForceThe MP5 is built for close range dominance. Some attachments can extend its effective range a bit, but overall it still works best at close range. The following is a build that aims to make an MP5 that is balanced for its intended engagement distance by smoothing out its erratic recoil without compromising much on speed and quickness.

Near MP5 Build

The MP5 has a base rate of fire of 820 RPM, which means it will bounce around very erratically when fired on full auto. However, the problem with this gun is not its poor recoil control, but rather its stability. The MP5's kick is fairly easy to handle, but even if you stop its muzzle from moving up or to the side, it will still spit bullets all over a conformal area while pulling the gun down due to its poor stability. As such, this design solves that problem by condensing the MP5's recoil pattern.

You are free to choose which sight you want, but we strongly recommend using a holographic sight for one reason: the circular sight accurately represents the MP5's machine gun pattern up to 50 meters away. This should give you a better idea of how accurate your bursts will be, but if the Holo Sight's reticle is too large, use a red dot sight instead.

The rest of the free mount slots can be left empty, but we recommend equipping a Mag Mount for better handling and either KC Hound or Ranger Handguards just to round out the weapon's stats. MP5 will not be as accurate as something similar Delta Force AKS-74 rifles even with these accessories, but it should be enough to drown people in bullets with relative ease.
