Arthur Morgan actor talks about Red Dead Redemption 3
Roger Clark, the actor behind Red Dead Redemption 2Arthur Morgan, recently spoke with Fall Damage about his time working on the game. During the chat, Clark discussed how fans always ask him about Red Dead Redemption 3 and what he knows about it, as he joked that the game will be out “tomorrow after lunchtime.” Speaking more seriously, Clark admitted that he has no idea when the series will return, and suspects it will be “a long time” before that happens. Clark also expressed excitement about the idea of Red Dead Redemption 3and said it would be “crazy” if Rockstar Games didn't make a sequel. He's tight-lipped about his expectations, saying there's no way for him to know if the future game will feature his character or other recurring faces. However, he remains open to the idea of returning, if Rockstar Games wanted him to, explaining that he would answer the phone if the developer called.
For now, it remains to be seen if and when Rockstar Games returns to Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold over 85 million copies to date, which would be considered a huge achievement for most game developers. For example, the mega-hit RPG Baldur's Gate 3 has sold 20 million copies to date, which is impressive, but far from what Red Dead Redemption 2 has achieved. However, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still largely overshadowed by Grand Theft Autowith Grand Theft Auto 5 has now sold over 225 million copies. GTA online also continues to make about a million dollars a day for Take-Two Interactive, so it's no wonder that GTA is in focus right now.

While many would love to see Arthur Morgan again in some capacity, Roger Clark isn't the only actor who has said they'd love to return. Previously, John Marston actor Rob Wiethoff said he would be interested in returning in a future game, saying he would return “in a second” if given the chance. Also, actress Alex McKenna, who portrayed Sadie Adler in Red Dead Redemption 2has said that not only does she want to return, but she would love to see her character take the lead role in Red Dead Redemption 3. With many of the main cast being enthusiastic, it's ultimately up to Rockstar and Take-Two to decide whether a new game will see returning faces or not.
