How to unlock outfits in REDACTED

To unlock clothes REDACTEDplayers must be in the hub area. When you spawn in, go to the left of the screen and go up the stairs. Interact with the wardrobe on the right edge of the raised platform to unlock and change clothing.

These outfits are not all available from the start. There are rival-specific outfits that only become available to unlock when players encounter the rival during their run. These colors are usually aimed at increasing the player's chance of getting a specific type of experiment, so you can reduce the RNG in your runs to create specific builds.

How to upgrade outfits in REDACTED

Once you've unlocked an outfit, you have the option to upgrade it, but only after you've met certain conditions. Players can access this upgrade menu on their PC by pressing F while selecting the desired outfit. If you have already unlocked the outfit, you will be able to see the requirement to unlock the outfit upgrade.

For example, players gain access to the incinerator suit after first encountering Liz during a run. However, after defeating Liz during your run, you'll be able to unlock the first suit upgrade, giving you a greater chance of encountering Combustion Experiments.
