The coming one Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered will reportedly feature cut dialogue from both playable characters Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness along with its visual enhancements and other content removed from the original game. It's unclear exactly what this new dialogue will contain, but according to developer Aspyr, the new lines will add more context to certain parts of the third and final title that make up Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered trilogy.
While Tomb Raider franchise was an important part of the PlayStation brand since its early days on the PS1, its first PS2 outing, Tomb Raider: angel of darkness, was released to largely negative reviews and led to a soft reboot. Fortunately for fans, the series won over critics and proved successful with its later iterations and thrives to this day as a result, with these original games now finally getting upgraded modern ports.

Game Rant caught up with Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered development studio Aspyr to discuss the renaissance Lara Croft is currently enjoying.
Now the controversial PS2 game is coming back with a series of upgrades Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered, with the remastered one Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness seems to add some dialogue from the original version. While developer Aspyr hasn't specified exactly what this dialogue contains, a blog post on the series' official site confirms that it will include lines from both Lara Croft and Kurtis Trent, the game's two playable characters.

In fact, the game's secondary protagonist, Kurtis, sees some other big upgrades as well, including an expansion of his short playable segments which will restore some of his combat abilities and moves. Now, alongside his ability to shoot around corners in the ordinary Tomb Raider mode and use his psychic abilities to create shields, Kurtis can also use the mythical blade Chirugai as a melee option.
All three games in the remastered trilogy will feature major visual improvements, higher frame rates, and modernized controls, giving players the ability to switch between the original scheme and the newly modernized controls. The classic Tomb Raider game featured tank controls similar Resident Evil, restrict player movement, while the remaster will offer a modern setup as an alternative and more streamlined approach.
Either way, there's certainly no shortage of content for new or longtime franchise fans right now, with Lara Croft most recently appearing on Netflix Tomb Raider animated series last year. The PS2 classic Tomb Raider: Legend also saw a modern port on PlayStation 4 and 5, becoming part of Sony's PlayStation Plus Premium catalog, giving fans another way to experience the series.
