Xbox gives first look at WWE 2K25

Xbox shared some screenshots of what's to come WWE 2K25 game. As WWE 2K24 was released in March 2024, some players are already expecting it WWE 2K25 could come out around the same time in 2025. Although no detailed news has come out regarding the next entry in the franchise, many fans are already speculating about what changes could be made to the game.

One point of early discussion was about the cover star. Many big names have served as part of the cover for the WWE games. From legends like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, to more current names like Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair, many superstars have graced the franchise's banner. And while a new leak from the upcoming game's Steam page has pointed to what many say is WWE 2K25 cover star, the only confirmed information about the title is what Xbox has shared on its Twitter page.

Predict WWE 2K25 Release Date

Based on the release pattern of WWE 2K22, 2K23 and 2K24, it is possible to narrow down WWE 2K25's release date to two likely days.

The official Xbox account on Twitter posted some screenshots of WWE 2K25 as a way to celebrate WWE RAW's debut on Netflix. The images showed updated models and new outfits for characters like Liv Morgan, Cody Rhodes, Damien Priest and CM Punk. Although nothing was mentioned, some fans asked if the title could be coming to Xbox Game Pass. Many users noted how Cody Rhodes' face has improved from previous years, as some also praised Liv Morgan's likeness.

Although this should also serve as a confirmation of the four characters' inclusion in the game, no details regarding WWE 2K25s list has yet to be revealed. Still, with a big change in terms of departures within the company, along with the arrival of many new superstars, fans are hoping that their current favorites will make it to the game once WWE 2K25 is released. Some playable characters that fans can expect are Bloodline members Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga, plus Wyatt Sicks in his new gimmicks.

Although the said tweet originated from the official Xbox account, the game is also expected to come out on PlayStation and PC. It is not yet known if it will be exclusive to the current gen or not. However, a link posted by the WWE Games Twitter account in the comments section points to a wish list that shows the Xbox, PlayStation and Steam logos, with a note that more information on WWE 2K25 will be presented on January 28, 2025.
