A MOBA-style Battle Royale is probably something you might not have on your bingo card this year, but Supervive combines the two formulas wonderfully to make an exciting experience. For a relatively small map, you can have up to 20 teams in a Duos game, and that's not even including the dozens of AI-controlled mobs scattered across the area.

Survival: 8 Best Consumables
Use it or lose it
Of course, as a MOBA game, Supervive has a wide collection of hunters, each with six distinct abilities, including their weapons and a unique passive ability. However, you have to put in the time and effort to master even a single one, and with 16 hunters in the game, it can be a little challenging. So, with that said, which one should you have as a beginner?
8 Ghost
Class: Fighter
There's a good reason why Ghost is the tutorial hunter – he is vanilla AR hero with a simple but reliable toolbox. His abilities focus on deal damage and stun enemieswhich makes him easy to pick up once you understand their patterns. Despite this simplicity, his abilities, including his ultimate, are unique enough to make him very capable overall.
In general, you can get Ghost to work through simply shoot the assault rifle and learn how his grenade works. His dash/slide ability provides a decent escape option, which you can learn within a few tries. Unfortunately, he feels a little too basic and restrictive against other technical huntershence the poor win rate in higher ranks.
7 Zeph
Class: Protector
Support characters play a vital role in any team, and Zeph is one solid choice for healer mesh in Supervive. He's good for crowd control thanks to his Vortex Charm and Second Wind, specifically designed to break synchronous motion.

Survive: Celeste Build Guide
Celeste is a controlling mage in Survive with excellent teamfight potential. Here's the best gear, skill priority, and general gameplay tips.
As for his actual healing, it feels a bit more expansive than Elluna, the other medicine hunter, so you're barely sacrificing any core mechanics. Like any support, it's best to keep Zeph at the back while the attacker focuses on the enemy. He can regularly heal himself and his allies while occasionally dealing burst damage, thanks to the Gale Force effect he applies.
6 Kingpin
Class: Initiator
As monstrous as he looks, the Kingpin is a threat in the midrange due to his hook-like gripan overwhelming mechanic that you can learn in minutes. It has one deceptively far and can reel in enemiesput them face to face with Kingpin's shotgun.
His alliance with Shrike is particularly dominantwhere he can stun and immobilize opponents while allowing Shrike enough time to perform a two-shot kill. Kingpin's adaptability in team composition makes him so remarkable — he works well with almost any hunter while having enough skills to cope in stand-alone situations.
5 Joule
Class: Fighter
Joule is one of the hunters there you really just need to learn a strategy and use it most of the time. In her case, it is apply the Static Charged status to enemies and dash through them with Surge to deal exceptional damage.

You can add this status with most of your abilities, but the most reliable way to do it is spammed Joule's left mouse button (or LMB) attack. It is worth noting that you will be relies heavily on Surge as your main source of damageso use it sparingly and don't engage in fights where you're at a disadvantage.
Aside from Surge and Voltage Spear, each ability applies a stack of static to enemies, and using four stacks makes them static charged.
4 Oath
Class: Frontliner
Being the only hunter in the game that has a shield, Oath is the textbook definition of a Frontliner. He can Summon a Brightshield at any time, removing all long-range firepower and also allow a Shield Bash for additional damage. In addition to that, this hunter also has a healing ability that regenerates the HP of everyone, including Brightshield, within its area.
His ultimate ability, Abyssalwalker, creates cascading earthquakes, which offer various uses. Not only does this stun lock ability create key openings for hunters like the Kingpin and Shrike, but it also allows Oath to knock people over the abyss with his hammer. Overall his depth and toolbox make him an ideal all-purpose hunter.
You can use Oath's Regen Field ability to revive teammates who have been knocked down.
3 Shrike
Class: Fighter
For the snipers out there, Supervive has heard you. Shrike, the stronger of the two snipers, is a fan favorite and one of the best early picks in the game. Her most effective trait, by far, is to affect the marked effectwhich greatly raises her next shot's damage – enough to eliminate most hunters with just two hits.

Best Battle Royale Games for Beginners
This genre can sometimes be difficult to understand and get into. This list has you covered if you want to get your feet wet in the center of the action.
Alongside her incredible range, another big thing is how her kit works so synergistically. Her Dive-Bomb and Disengage abilities stun and slow enemies, respectively, making it easier to hit your targets. Shrike is a major threat in a team scenariowhere her teammates can distract enemies while she lands a direct shot.
Shrike's laser is visible to other hunters, allowing them to identify her line of sight.
2 Hudson
Class: Controller
Although Hudson is a bit more setting-focused than Ghost, Hudson's simplicity is the same, although the character is significantly more versatile. If you only look at statistics, his success rate is significantly better than any other hunterand it's clear why. This robbery pure damage is almost unfairand the cooldown on his multi-charge abilities is far too generous.
Hudson's Spin Barrels ability gives him a much needed option — sacrifices movement for damage. This allows him to compete against damage and movement oriented hunters, there you can change your strategy to a specific firefight. On top of that, his barbed wire and hoof beams ensure that the opponent is neither too close nor too far.
Hudson takes more damage when hit in the back!
1 Felix
Class: Frontliner
When you think of tanks in MOBAs, you probably think of slow and bulky characters. Felix is nothing like the stereotype but still is a powerhouse and extremely easy to use. As a melee character, your main focus is to sneak up on enemies or at least attack them up close.
Thankfully, Felix's abilities give him the flexible mobility he needs. From his dash-activating Pyro Pounce to the hook-like Heat Shieldhe basically removes all the challenging bits of being a tank with absurd moves. His other skills, like Embry Bolt, are just as demanding, though Heat Shield is undoubtedly the highlight of his arsenal.
