A reliable Fortnite insider has claimed that Chapter 6 will feature Godzilla as both a boss for players to face and a skin to run around as, presumably with much smaller proportions.
It's almost December and you know what that means. If your first thought was Christmas, I'm sorry to say that you might not be enough of a player, as any Fortnite fan knows that the biggest thing happening next month is the start of Chapter 6. While Epic Games kept it very quiet last year when it came to the arrival of chapter 5, it has been much more open this time.

Geoff Keighley doesn't rig the Game Awards. He may still have too much power.
Keighley doesn't pick the winners, but he does decide what The Game Awards stand for.
Shortly after a blurry image leaked that revealed the crossover lineup of Fortnite Chapter 6, Epic decided to open the floodgates and officially reveal that the next big season of Fortnite will be called Hunters and have a traditional Japanese theme. This includes the introduction of Godzilla, who can be seen lurking in the background of the season's key art.
Godzilla will be both boss and skin in Fortnite
Godzilla has been rumored to be coming to Fortnite for a while now, and his massive stature led many players to assume that he will be a boss character that can be encountered around the island. That's only half accurate, though, as trusted Fortnite insider ShiinaBR has claimed that there's a bit more to him than that.
On Twitter, ShiinaBR confirmed that Godzilla is a boss during Chapter 6 of Fortnite, but that he will also be included as a skin for players to use, possibly as part of the Battle Pass. Shiina compares this to the giant Doctor Doom that appeared in Fortnite's last Absolute Doom season.
I'm willing to bet that Godzilla will be the last unlockable of Chapter 6's Battle Pass. That's just how Fortnite likes to do things, unfortunately.
For anyone wondering how that might work, the skin version of Godzilla will likely have drastically reduced proportions and resemble some of Fortnite's bigger skins like Peter Griffin and Ernie the Giant Chicken. Epic could even get a little creative about it and make him look like one of the suits in the classic Godzilla movies, but unfortunately that's not likely to happen. Still, double Godzilla is never a bad thing.
