Palworld Fiber Guide (where to get and how to farm)

There are several ways to get fiber Palworld. You can use the crusher, chop trees or defeat/capture certain friends. Among them, the most effective way to collect fiber quickly is to chop trees and turn the forest into fiber using the crusher. You can also farm Woods AFK by placing the logging site structure and assigning a Pal with a Lumbering Work Aptitude.

How to get fiber in Palworld

There is no structure where you can grow fiber directly, but you can process 1 wood into 2 fibers with the help of Crush or Cryogenic crusher. Here is the workability required for the assigned buddies:

Crush: Irrigation Lv. 1
Cryogenic crusher: Cooling Lv. 1 (also needs electricity)

The Cryogenic Crusher has more requirements and requires more materials when you build it, but it has one Work speed +100% bonus, meaning it is more effective than the basic crusher.

You also get fiber naturally Palworld when sawing trees for wood or hardwood. This is not a bad method of collecting fiber, as you get fiber right away when you cut the wood, and you can process the wood for fiber later in the base.

You can also get fiber in Palworld by defeating or capturing certain Pals. However, among the available methods, this is the worst if you plan to buy fiber in bulk.

Examples of Pals that lose Fiber are Hangyu and Hookrates. Note that Hoocrates is a nocturnal friend, so you cannot catch it during the day.

But after the full release of Palworld 1.0, Fiber becomes a more significant resource, as you now need it to do Wooden boards. This material is required in many structures after the version 1.0 update.
