PS Plus will lose at least 12 games in July 2026

Another month is upon us, which means it's time for another wave of games to be removed from PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium plans, with 12 games on the chopping block for July 2026. PS Plus continuously offers free games to its Extra and Premium subscribers, adding and removing titles month-to-month, with a recent change in June 2026 drastically changing how these games are delivered throughout the month.

Sony usually delivers its PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games in bulk every month, so fans can clamor for the games they want as soon as they drop; but a big change has just hit the service. Starting in June 2026, PS Plus free games will be distributed in weekly waves, with two games released every Tuesday of the month. However, it appears that the games rotating out of the service will remain on the same schedule, bringing everything in one go once a month.

  • Bomber crew (PS4)
  • Clash: Artifacts of Chaos (PS5, PS4)
  • Cursed to Golf (PS5, PS4)
  • Get even (PS4)
  • Hundred Days: Winemaking Simulator (PS5, PS4)
  • Infinite mini golf (PS4)
  • Onee Chanbara Origin (PS4)
  • Risk of rain 2 (PS5, PS4)
  • Roki (PS5, PS4)
  • Source of madness (PS5, PS4)
  • Space Crew: Legendary Edition (PS4)
  • Tropical 6 (PS5, PS4)

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers have a month at the time of writing to play the twelve titles above, which are slated to be removed from the service by the end of July 2026. While this time it's mostly a bunch of smaller, niche games leaving PS Plus Extra, that doesn't mean some great games worth playing aren't being removed. Risk of rain 2 is still one of the best roguelike games that fans can play with friends, while Tropical 6 is a solid political sim game that is sure to swallow up any player's free time. Meanwhile, smaller titles that they underestimated Get even are worth checking out for any fan of psychological thriller games, and Cursed to Golf is a fun golf-based roguelike that's definitely worth checking out.

There's still no word on what games are coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers in July 2026, but June saw a solid line-up of new games hit the service. Final Fantasy 16 just hit PS Plus Extra on June 16, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be released on June 23, which is sure to make RPG fans very happy. Later in the month, Farming Simulator 25 lands on PS Plus on June 30, just in time for gamers to beat the summer heat like a farmer but virtually instead of outside.

There were some notable removals from PS Plus Extra in June that have fans quite upset. Rockstar's landmark Red Dead Redemption just left PS Plus after a long time on the service, but it always rotates in and out of the Extra and Premium catalog with GTA 5so it may be back on the service shortly. In the meantime, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game and We love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie has also left PS Plus, which will disappoint those games' dedicated fanbases.

Looking even further ahead, there are some pretty huge games already being announced for PS Plus later this year. Sony recently announced Great walk coming to PS Plus Essential alongside Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams in August. Then, Runescape: Dragonwilds coming to PS Plus Extra in September, which should satisfy co-op players. PlayStation Plus subscribers should keep an eye out for new games announced for the service in July.
