V-Jump reveals an official first look at Boruto's new arc focusing on Sarada Uchiha
Every month V-Jump publishes something new Boruto chapter around the 20th, and every time a chapter is released a sneak peek is revealed a couple of days before it. This month was no different, and on June 13, 2026, V-Jump officially released its first sneak peek of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 35. This chapter will continue the new arc that began in Chapter 34 last month on May 20, 2026. From the very first chapter, it was clear that Sarada's new character would be central to the Uchiha. At the beginning of the arc, it was officially confirmed that Sarada Uchiha was slowly going blind with the overuse of the Mangekyo Sharingan.
“As I thought, the recipe doesn't seem right. Your eyesight has clearly deteriorated compared to before. That's a risk that inevitably follows the Mangekyō Sharingan. New sneak peek focuses on an Uzumaki Marked Kunai
In the new sneak peek for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 35, which was officially released on June 13, 2026, Sarada Uchiha was seen wearing new glasses. These new glasses help alleviate her blindness, which was confirmed in the previous chapter. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 34, Sakura Haruno officially confirmed that Sarada needed new glasses as her eyesight had deteriorated. Ikemoto also gave fans a POV from Sarada showing hazy vision in the same chapter; But it seems her sight has been temporarily restored with the new glasses that Sakura Haruno tailored for her needs.

Just as Sarada Uchiha returns to action with new glasses, a kunai falls next to her. This kunai signals the start of an attack, but strangely has a spiral mark placed on it. This spiral mark could only connect to one thing in Naruto and Boruto's world, and that is the Uzumaki clan. For those who don't know, the Uzumaki clan has the hot tub as their symbol, considering they come from the land of the vortex. This kunai marked with a swirl means that only Boruto Uzumaki could have sent this kunai to her, and the reason why is pretty clear: Boruto Uzumaki wants to protect Sarada Uchiha.

In the previous chapter of the series, officially released on May 20, 2026, in V-Jump issue #7, Code made his intention to abduct Sarada Uchiha very clear and used her as bait to lure Boruto to Shinju so that he could be killed and used as a sacrifice for the God Tree. To prevent Sarada from being harmed, especially when she is weakened by the overuse of the Mangekyo Sharingan, Boruto Uzumaki has sent her a custom-made kunai. By marking it with an Uzumaki seal, Boruto can teleport to Sarada's side at any time to protect her. This seems to be the beginning of a very clever plan by the protagonist.

Why Hidari and Kod are expected to be on the move in the new Boruto arc
The last panel of the chapter shows Sarada Uchiha reacting to an incoming threat. Just as Boruto lands his kunai next to Sarada's feet, something rushes towards her from behind. It is unclear what this is, but the most likely option is Code, who officially targeted her in the previous chapter. Code's goal is to abduct Sarada, which means the new arc will focus on her abduction and potentially her rescue, led by Boruto Uzumaki. Meanwhile, this arc will also likely focus on the storyline surrounding Sarada Uchiha's blindness as well as a cure for it. Sarada needs to improve her eyesight and evolve past her blindness no matter what, and this arc will likely be the key to doing that.
More importantly, this arc can focus quite a bit on Hidari. With Mamushi falling from the Shinju villain group, next in line to take the stage is none other than Hidari, who is based on the clone of Sasuke Uchiha, Sarada's very own father. Potentially, it is by fighting and beating Hidari that Sarada will be able to gain a significant power-up that will cure her blindness. We absolutely can't wait to see how things move with the character of Sarada Uchiha in the new arc as Boruto's next chapter approaches.
The full release of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 35 will take place on June 20, 2026, and hopefully many more exciting events involving Sarada will be showcased in this new chapter. Either way, we're curious to see what Mikio Ikemoto and Masashi Kishimoto have in store for us, and hopefully our expectations will be exceeded, just like they are every month.
