How To Learn Alchemy In Gothic 1 Remake
Alchemy is one of the most useful skills in Gothic 1 Remake; it allows players to combine lab bottles and herbs into powerful concoctions that can heal them or help them restore their Mana.
To learn Alchemy, players must come to Chapter 3 and find one of the following instructors after completing the Minecrawler Nest Quest in the Old Mine:
- Cor Kalom: If players are affiliated with The Brotherhood, he will teach them alchemy for 10 LP and 100 ores. He can be found in the Alchemy lab in Swamp Camp.
- Damarok: Found inside the Innos Chapel in the Old Camp, along with the rest of the Fire Mages. Players can talk to him during Chapter 3, after talking to Master Corristo. He teaches alchemy for 10 LP and 100 ores.

Once you get your alchemy skill, you can go right ahead and create your first potions. To create Potions in Gothic 1 Remake, simply approach an alchemy table and press the interaction key (E in PC). More recipes can be purchased from Magic Item vendors such as Chronos or Torrezand the more complex the potion, the rarer ingredients needed to craft it.
