The PlayStation Plus free games for June 2026 are now officially available to claim. As a result, PS Plus users have until early July to claim the latest monthly freebies.
The latest set of free titles is unusual for including a crossover offering: EA Sports FC 26. Originally launched as part of PS Plus' May 2026 Games of the Month, the popular football sim recently got an extra two weeks on the service and can now be claimed until June 16.
Grounded and two more titles now available for PS Plus subscribers
As of June 2, free games of the month have joined the service, with Based, Warhammer 40,000: Darktideand Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 now available to subscribers. Unlike EA Sports FC 26The PS Plus June 2026 games can be downloaded for more than a month. July 6th is the last full day to claim them, although they will technically remain available until the afternoon of July 7th local time.
All free PS Plus games in June 2026
EA Sports FC 26 is a holdover from May 2026 and will only be available until June 16. The other three titles can be claimed until July 7.
As usual, the June 2026 lineup is available to all subscribers at all levels of PS Plus: Essential, Extra and Premium. Obsidian's hit survival game Based is the most acclaimed member of this month's lineup, both in terms of critical scores and user ratings on the PlayStation Store. PS Plus members get the Fully Yoked Edition of the game, named after the massive 1.4 update that introduced additional creatures, buildings, items, quality of life improvements and a New Game Plus mode.
PS4 users still get tons of games from PS Plus
A somewhat unusual feature of the June 2026 PS Plus lineup is that all of its games offer multiplayer capabilities. More often than not, Sony's subscription service includes at least one gamer title in its monthly rotation. Most of the new batch is available for the last two generations of PlayStation consoles, with Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the only PS5 title on offer. While that's a fairly typical distribution, it means June is another month where Sony has seemingly not followed through on its plan to deprioritize the PS4 as part of its monthly free games for PS Plus subscribers. Back in June 2025, the company signaled that it would start doing so in January 2026, but so far it hasn't done much about it.

The next PS Plus update is scheduled for June 16, when new Extra and Premium titles will join the service, with most expected to stay until at least mid-2027. The upcoming arrivals have yet to be officially announced, with the reveal expected on June 10. As part of the same rotation, PS Plus will lose some of its top-rated games, with the June 16 departures headlined by Red Dead Redemption.
