Ground Diving is an important Monstie ability in Monster Hunter Stories 3 which allows players to travel to new areas through holes in the ground. While this ability can be used as early as Azuria, players won't actually unlock the ability until later in the story.

How to get a Canyne in Monster Hunter Stories 3
IN Monster Hunter Stories 3players will discover their first monster with the Ground Dive ability while playing through the part of the story that takes place in Canalta Timberland. After encountering Corbin and his Palico companion, PK, the game will lead players to find the village in the northwestern part of the region. After defeating a new wild monster and meeting Kol, players will find themselves in The Shepard.
In the village, players will learn what the people living on this side of the shelf think of their home. They will learn that too Canynesthe Monstie race that helps the villagers, is becoming extinct. To solve this problem, the Rangers will compromise Blessing Hill to find a Canyne egg to prevent the breed from dying out.
At Blessing Hill, players will need wait until night to find the invasive Arzuros that roam the area. After defeating it, enter the lair it retreats to to find a Canyne Egg encased in Egg Quartz. Interact with the Egg Quartz to gently release the Canyne Egg.
With the egg in tow, return to the village. Players will participate in the special ceremony used to hatch the new baby Canyne.
After the ceremony, the cutscene will let players talk to Kol again. They will discuss the dangerous monster threatening the village, with the Rangers planning to go in and deal with it. Kol will tell the players to bring the new Canyne puppy.
This new Canyne Monstie will be the first Monstie player to find who can Ground Dive.
How to defeat the invasive Arzuros in Monster Hunter Stories 3
The Invasive Arzuros will attack players along with one or two regular Arzuros. To defeat Invasive Arzuros, you don't need to reduce its health to zero. Instead, you just have to fight it until the honey runs out.
Normal Arzuros use Power Attacks when not enraged, so players will get the best results using Speed attacks during this fight.
The invasive Arzuros uses honey to heal, summon new allies, and boost its attacks. After a round of summoning allies, healing and using a hard hitting attack on the player's party, the invasive Arzuros will run out of honey very quickly. It will then run off and cause a new one Endangered It to spawn.
Entering the endangered lair reveals an egg quartz in its center, surrounding a single egg. Approach the Egg Quartz and interact with it to get the Canyne Egg.
How to Deep dive in Monster Hunter Stories 3
The Ground Dive ability is used to dive into special holes in the ground. After diving into a hole, players will appear on another part of the map in a different hole. These holes come in pairs, so jumping into one will always take you to the other in the set.
In order to use the Ground Dive ability, players must have a Monstie in their party that can Ground Dive. When they approach holes that can be Ground Dived into, they must ride Ground Diving Monstie next to them. When interact button appears on the screen, tap it to jump into the hole and emerge on the other side.
Players will naturally come across the game's tutorial for Ground Diving by continuing to follow the story after hatching the first Canyne.
