Diablo 2: Resurrected's Best Warlock skill basically turns the game into Pokemon

This isn't the first time Blizzard has offered a similar challenge, with players having a chance to have their Battle Tag inscribed on a statue of Lilith following the release of Diablo 4 back in 2023. The first 1,000 players to reach level 100 in Hardcore mode in Diablo 4 had their Battle Tags carved into a statue of Lilith that now resides on Blizzard's Irvine campus, and will soon be joined by Diablo 2: Resurrected's Grimoire of the Unfallen. However, the latest competition is even more exclusive, given that only 300 players are allowed to enter their names instead of the previous 1,000.
Reaching level 99 with a Warlock in Diablo 2: Resurrected is no easy task
To compete with others Diablo 2: Resurrected player seems to be the most challenging part of this competition, but even reaching level 99 with a Hardcore character is a monumental task in itself. The Steam achievement for this challenge i Diablo 2: Resurrected is almost impossible without investing lots of time and taking the game slow and playing carefully. Right now, only 0.1% of Diablo 2 players on Steam have even earned this achievement, and the numbers for other platforms are just as small.
Thankfully, the new Warlock class is one of the strongest Diablo 2 ever seen, and there are some great build options that can help players reach that level 99 on Hardcore. Echoing Strike Warlock has the highest DPS potential of the class build options, but Fire Warlock, with skills like Flame Wave and Apocalypse, may be a safer option for Hardcore players. A Hardcore edition of Diablo 2 can be quickly finished by annoying enemies like Undead Stygian Dolls, so using skills like Flame Wave that deal damage while keeping enemies in check with knockback can be a good strategy.
