Critical Role is an incredibly large tabletop phenomenon. It began life in 2015 as a live game Dungeons & Dragons campaign, broadcast on Geek & Sundry. Since then, the actors have taken over the production and are currently on their fourth campaign. There have also been two animated series produced: The Legend of Vox Machina, based on campaign one, and The Mighty Nein, based on campaign two.
The cast of Critical Role, both in the main campaigns and in the animated series, are very prolific actors, with many of them voicing hundreds of roles over the years. But did you know that Critical Role has attracted some big names from another media giant, Disney? Here's who has a foot in both camps.

Auli'i Cravalho
The Mighty Nein / Moana
In The Mighty Nein, Auli'i Cravalho voices Toya, an elf girl who is part of the Curiosities Fletching And Moondrop Traveling Carnival of Curiosities. Toya is a singer, but her voice is used to harm by those responsible. She has a short but emotional journey after encountering the Mighty Nein.
In her Disney role, Cravalho plays Moana in the film of the same name. Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a chief, lives on an island with her family, and after resources begin to run out, she must travel to the heart of Te Fiti to save her people.

Anika Noni Rose
The Mighty Nein / The Princess And The Frog
Anika Noni Rose voices Marion Lavorre, mother of Laura Bailey's player character Jester, in The Mighty Nein. Marion is a courtesan in Nicodranas who raised her daughter alone, supported by the staff of her opulent home. She is charming, graceful and easy to talk to. Jester stays in touch with Marion throughout Mighty Nein's adventures, while Marion stays at home due to her agoraphobia.
You'll probably also recognize Rose as the voice of Tiana in The Princess And The Frog. Tiana is a young woman who dreams of opening her own restaurant and finds herself drawn into a story of princes, voodoo and transformation.

Ming-Na Wen
The Mighty Nein / Mulan
Ming-Na Wen plays the elf monk Dairon, who works for the Valley Archive of the Cobalt Soul, a library in Zadash. They are very focused, direct and straightforward with others, probably driven by a difficult past that they choose not to reveal. Dairon trained alongside Marish Ray's player character Beau at the Valley Archive. The pair reconnect during Mighty Nein's adventures.
Ming-Na Wen may be a minor character in Critical Role, but she commands armies in Disney's world as Mulan. After a young Mulan disguises herself as a man and joins the army in her ailing father's place, she is led on a journey of self-discovery. Wen also reprises her role as Mulan in many other Disney properties.

Cree Summer
The Legend of Vox Machina / Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Cree Summer voices Raishan, The Diseased Deceiver, and Empress Salda Tal'Dorei in The Legend of Vox Machina. Both are NPCs from campaign one. Raishan is an ancient green dragon with a shape-shifting ability and is one of the most powerful enemies Vox Machina has fought against. In contrast, Empress Salda is the wife of Sovereign Uriel Tal'Dorei II who, along with her children, were held under the influence of a demonic force before being rescued by Vox Machina.
In her role for Disney, Summer Kida is the voice of Nedakh in Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Kida is the smart, strong and very capable princess who helps our protagonist Milo save Atlantis from villains who threaten the inhabitants of the underwater city.

Stephanie Beatriz
The Legend of Vox Machina / Encanto
In The Legend Of Vox Machina, Stephanie Beatriz voices Kima, a paladin known for decades of good deeds and considered one of the most powerful forces of good in the land. Kima is the wife of Allura Vysoren who appears first in the campaign and tasks Vox Machina with locating Kima. When Kima is found, she travels with Vox Machina for a while.
Beatriz Disney role is Mirabel Madrigal, the main character of Encanto, a story of a magical matriarchal family with several generations. Mirabel is the only child, or grandchild, in the family not gifted with magic, but also the only person who can help save them all when their magic begins to fade.

Kelly Hu
The Legend of Vox Machina / Phineas and Ferb
Kelly Hu plays Dr. Anna Ripley in The Legend Of Vox Machina. Ripley is an NPC who was morbidly interested in main party member Percy's inventions of firearms. Ripley used knowledge gained from her capture of Percy and observations of him struggling to adapt and construct her weapon concepts. She is as smart as she is dangerous, and Vox Machina considers her Percy's amoral archenemy.
House Disney role is as Stacy Hirano in Phineas And Ferb. Stacy is best friends with Candice, Phineas And Ferb's sister. She appears in nearly every episode of the long-running show, as a constant companion and anchor for Candice when her brothers frustrate her.

Aimee Carrero
Critical Role / Elena Of Avalor
Aimee Carrero guest stars on Critical Role. She has played Opal, a human wizard in the Exandria Unlimited campaign, as well
Deni$e Bembachula, a dwarf barbarian villain from campaign three. The two characters are very different. Opal began adventuring at the age of 18, hoping her exploits would bring her into contact with her mother, who left years earlier. Deni$e set out on an adventure after a ritual saw her transported to Issylra along with Ashton, Laudna and Orym from Bells Hells.
In Disney circles, Carrero is known for playing the main character Princess Elena in Elena Of Avalor. Elena saved her kingdom from an evil wizard, and this long-running TV series focuses on her learning how to become a thoughtful, compassionate and resilient leader of her people.

Travis Willingham
Critical Role / Sofia the First
Travis Willingham is one of the main characters in Critical Role. As such, he voices a number of characters in both campaigns and animated series. His main characters are: Grog Strongjaw, a goliath barbarian/Vox Machina fighter, Fjord, a half-orc wizard/paladin and member of the Mighty Nein, as well as Sir Bertrand Bell, a human fighter, and Chetney Pock O'Pea, a grumpy blood hunter/villain, both members of Bell's Hells. In the current campaign, he plays the nama paladin Teor Pridesire.
Other characters Willingham has lent his vocal talents to include Lawrence Lorelei, a human blood hunter from Liam's One Shot: Song of the Lorelei, Chutney Chocolatecane from The Night Before Critmas, and Lokhar Windfallow, a paladin in Critical Role One-Shot: Kobolds, Catacombs, And Dragons (Oh My Dragons!).
Willingham's biggest Disney role is as King Roland II in Sofia the First. Roland's marriage to Sofia's mother is what pushes Sofia, a young girl with a more ordinary upbringing, into a new role as a princess.

Ashley Johnson
Critical role/break
As the lead actor, Ashley Johnson has played a number of roles. Pike Trickfoot, a gnome priest, is a member of Vox Machina, Yasha Nydoorin is a patron (formerly fallen) assimar barbarian who is part of the Mighty Nein, and Lady fearne Calloway, a faun druid/villain who joined the Bells Hells. Her latest character is Vaelus, an elven paladin in campaign four.
Her supporting characters include Peaches Silversong, an honesty pegasus from Tails Of Equestria One-Shot, Damian Vadoma, a half-elf fighter from The Adventures of Darrington Brigade, and Misty, a towering clank bard from Age of Umbra.
In Critical Role, she is often remembered for her first three dice rolls, two natural 20s, followed by a natural. In Disney circles, she is known for playing Gretchen Grundler in Recess, one of a group of six fourth graders who make it their job to protect the children on the playground during recess.
