Enemy Types New players continue to underestimate (at your own risk)

ARC Raiders is a completely different kind of extraction shooter that places a much heavier emphasis on the environmental aspects of PvPvE. The game's robot enemies Scattered around the Topside is anything but a cakewalk, with many more lethal than even a full squad of raiders. Nevertheless for new playerstheir strength can be difficult to measure without facing them directly, leading to many deaths thanks to underestimates his power.

It may seem overwhelming at first, but with enough knowledge, these creepy ARCs can become quite trivial. Some have very distinct weaknesses that can be easily exploited, while others have specific strategies that can make fights much easier. Even with these techniques in mind, these enemies should always be respected, as players can find their way back to Speranza without any of their hard-earned loot in a matter of moments.

Rocketeers

Raining hell from the sky

ARC Raiders Rocketeer

Rocketeers is one of the deadliest ARCs in the entire game, and time and time again players underestimate how powerful they can be. The most bloodthirsty bot in Server Slam, Rocketeers can be extremely problematic when encountered out in the wild. Not only are they incredibly fast, they are ruthless and their damage is high enough to take down players with just a few rockets, forcing them to seek cover indoors or risk falling.

The reason many players underestimate how difficult Rocketeers are to deal with is that they can be comfortable taking out individual wasps or even hornets with little to no problem, so when they see another flying enemy, many assume that a few well-placed shots will be enough to knock them out of the sky. In reality, their entire bodies are heavily armored, meaning that many low-level weapons will be virtually useless for breaking through and doing any meaningful damage. As such, new players should pick their fights carefully and come back with some more powerful weapons and some higher level grenades before taking on these flying enemies.

Pops

Save those marbles

ARC Raiders Pop

Pops are seemingly weaker enemies that players will encounter in ARC Raidersbut their fragile exterior hides some deadly explosives that can easily ruin any Raider's day. Found in many of the larger structures around the maps, Pops roll around patrolling for intruders, quickly turning red at the sight of nearby players who get too close. Once agitated, it's only a matter of time before the Pops will rush forward and detonate in a blazing fire, dealing massive damage and burning anyone nearby.

For the most part, they aren't too much of a problem, as they don't have an armored exterior and can be taken out with just a few shots from basically any weapon. But if they manage to sneak past the player's bullets or catch them reloading, the damage that Pops deals can put a big dent in their health bar or even kill them. Newer raiders must keep an eye out when entering a building; if they are not careful, an explosion could mean their end.

Wasps

Deadly in numbers

ARC Raiders Wasp

Wasps are the most common enemies players will encounter on Topside, but their abundance says nothing about their overall power. Usually flying around looking for lone attackers, Wasps often roam in groups or can be accompanied by a larger ARC like a Hornet, making encounters much more difficult for players to handle. But even by themselves, wasps can be quite troublesome, as they can quickly lock on to players and dish out a large amount of damage even when under fire.

What makes wasps even more deadly is how difficult they can be to hit. Even if they are down on a propeller and smoking in the sky, they will continue their pursuit and maintain their onslaught of bullets. Also, many new players may instinctively run in to heal or avoid the wasp's attacks, not knowing that they can fly through doorways or windows. This means that regardless of where players are, they need to keep an eye on them, as a single wasp can easily float by and deliver the final blow to a weakened Raider.

Steed

No distance is too far

ARC Raiders Leaper-1

Steed is quite terrifying and is seen everywhere on the maps i ARC Raiderswalk around like mechanical spiders and keep an eye out for any movement nearby. Players who have just picked up the game may spot one from afar and try to take some potshots to weaken them, or test their weapons, but it could quite easily be their last mistake. With seemingly no effort at all, Leapers can jump hundreds of meters both horizontally and vertically to quickly close the distance.

They suffer from a very simple size weakness, which prevents them from entering virtually any structure, no matter how small. However, in the open they can aggro from quite a distance, and once they have their eyes on a player, they will continue to jump and run until nothing is left. Thanks to their decently sized health pools, players are advised to come back with a better load of grenades and weapons before trying to take down the Leapers, as without the right set of equipment, ammo stores can run dry, leaving players defenseless against the Leapers' relentless attacks.

Sentinels

Great damage from any distance

ARC Raiders Sentinel

Sentinels are quite rare overall and are only found in certain locations in some of the hotter areas of the maps. They act as sniper turrets that monitor the area for attackers looking for prey, and after finishing their shot, they can deliver a large blow from a significant distance. Up close, they don't pose much of a threat, as players can easily use cover to avoid their shots, and their health pool isn't large enough to require a large ammo investment either.

However, if new players are unaware of what the Sentinel's laser means or choose to ignore it altogether, they will quickly regret it and feel the full force of the ARC's attack. Since they can only rotate and not actually move, players should have no problem finding a good angle to take cover from and take them out from, but before they are safe they should be careful, as the single sniper shot can be enough to force them to heal. It can even alert nearby players who are more than happy to clean up an injured Raider and take their loot.
