Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies might be one of the biggest zombie offerings to date, taking players to the biggest launch map with Ashes of the Damned, endless survival at Vandorn Farm, and tons of fun through Dead Ops Arcade 4. Whether you're pushing for the highest possible round or completing the main easter egg for each map, there's a long race ahead for anyone who jumps in.
With Black Ops 7 comes a new list of 30 weapons, each with their own perks. While some weapons definitely stand out as meta options in Multiplayer, another set shines specifically in Zombies. For those who want to slay the undead in style, here are the best weapons to use in Black Ops 7 Zombies.
Hunter (gun)

Geri |

Jager is the very first gun that players can get their hands on Black Ops 7and while multiplayer players can avoid it entirely, in Zombies it's a completely different beast. When Pack-a-Punched, Jager upgrades to a mini handheld shotgunfires a spread of bullets while maintaining the quick handling and movement speed standard of a pistol. The damage is also exceptionally high for its base variant, making it a good consideration.
Although jager is much less effective at long range, jager is a great secondary weapon to carry deal massive damage to enemies which comes a little too close for comfort. But pair the gun with its Skull Splitter Barrel, and you can deal massive critical damage to even the toughest enemies like Zursa.
DS20 Mirage (Assault Rifle)

When it comes to Assault Rifles, all guns in the category are actually quite viable. However, one weapon that currently stands out is the DS20 Mirage, which many may overlook. If players look at the weapon's stats directly, the DS20 has something that none of the others have: an incredibly high damage multiplier when hitting the neck of regular zombies.
For critical kills, the DS20 Mirage is the king of all full-auto options, deal massive critical damage with neck shots and head shots that can easily wipe out zombie trains. That too sports an excellent selectionis quite controllable and has a good rate of fire to boot, even without Double Tap. If you're looking for a strong default weapon to take into Ashes of the Damned boss fights alongside your trusty Wonder Weapon, this is it. Plus, it's a wall buy at the Zarya Cosmodrome.
Peacekeeper MK1 (Assault Rifle)

Sticking with the Assault Rifles, now with the Peacekeeper MK1, an iconic rifle that actually ranks pretty high in Zombies. While it's far from the best weapon to use over long distances, it's not much of a weakness in Zombies when you're dealing with hordes of enemies rushing you. With a very high rate of fire, that too deals a lot of damage to enemies.
The Peacekeeper MK1 is not the heaviest weapon by any means, but its critical shot DPS is definitely up there with many of the highest DPS weapons in the game. It's also pretty fast by Assault Rifle standards. What's more, there's also a wall buy for it in both Vandorn Farm Survival and Ashes of the Damned, located in the farmhouse.
Akita (Shotgun)

Looking for the equivalent of Maelstrom in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Zombies? That would be the Akita, easily the best shotgun out there. This fully automatic shotgun is already a strong starting weapon that fires incredibly fast and crush base enemies without much need for precise aiming. But that's just scratching the surface.
When Pack-a-Punched, Akita receives a massive increase in its magazine capacity, which is a solid bonus that helps counter its extremely fast rate of fire. For high rounding and for taking down swarms of enemies, as well as for doing heavy damage to hordes of Ravagers during special rounds, it is superior the best option up close. By default, its scope is quite limited.
MK.78 (LMG)

While LMGs should usually be avoided in Black Ops 7 Multiplayer, MK.78 is definitely a decent option to use in Zombies specifically. Right off the bat, many can drop it due to its low mobility and slow reload speed, and while it does gain a buff to movement speed when Pack-a-Punchedit's notably much slower than the Beta, and players really need to run Stamin-Up to actually notice a difference. So why should you consider the MK.78?
MK.78 is a powerhouse when it comes to damage per shot. It fires slowly but hits incredibly hard, and it's also extremely stable when it comes to recoil. It's an absolute monster against Zursa when targeted at critical spots and can also be used to great effect against bosses and zombie trains from afar. It is not to be talked about its big paper by default. Pair this weapon with the Deadshot Daiquiri, Speed Cola, and Double Tap, and you have a force to be reckoned with.
CODA 9 (gun)

Back to Pistols now with CODA 9, an outstanding weapon from Beta that is equally good for the entire launch of Black Ops 7. This nifty submachine gun comes with all the advantages of its class, esp a super fast ADS speed and excellent mobility. However, it pairs this with a blistering rate of fire that easily makes it one of the best weapons in the game.
CODA 9 has one of the highest levels of DPS of any weapon availablequickly racking up massive damage while allowing players to remain mobile. It's also the very first wall buy you can find in Ashes of the Damned, meaning you can often pick up a higher rarity CODA 9, without having to spend Salvage to upgrade it.
Ryden 45k (SMG)

Next up is the Ryden 45k, a great choice among multiplayer players, but an even better weapon in Zombies. Ryden 45k boasts an incredibly fast RPM for the SMG categoryranked as the second best. Although the damage per shot is on the lower side, this rapid rate of fire more than makes up for it, allowing it to dish out a large amount of damage quickly, even without the use of Double Tap.
The weapon can also be built with high mobility in mind since it is an SMGand when paired with Stamin-Up, it allows players to weave in and out of zombie trains with ease while shooting from the hip or aiming down for added accuracy. Of course, with such a high rate of fire, the gun tends to burn through its ammunition quite efficiently. However with that both a wall purchase on Vandorn Farm Survival and Ashes of the Damned, it's definitely one of the more cost-effective options because you can always buy back ammo via its wall buy.
Razor 9 mm (SMG)

If you like the Ryden 45k, you might like the Razor 9mm even more. This compact SMG also has a blazing rate of fire, but this time it ranks as the number one fastest firing SMG. While the rate of fire does not always guarantee highest DPSThe Razor 9mm is definitely up there.
The greatest strength of the Razor 9mm is that when Pack-a-Punched it receives a massive buff to his hipfire accuracy. It doesn't completely eliminate spread hip fire, but it becomes significantly more accurate than most other weapons. Its DPS is too strong enough to carry players through the high rounds if upgraded accordingly, even if its range drops sharply beyond 10 meters. Unfortunately, it's not a wall buy on Ashes of the Damned.
VS Recon (Sniper Rifle)

Vscera Reconfigurator |
|
Moving away from automatic weapons now with the VS Recon, a bolt-action sniper rifle that can fly under some players' radars, and for good reason. While it may not get as high DPS as some other rapid-fire weapons, for critical damage, VS Recon is king even before it's Pack-a-Punched, hand out a pretty consistent one-shot headshot guy for the first 10 rounds on base enemies without having to upgrade, which will save players' Essence and Savage in the long run.
Of course, it only gets better when it's Pack-a-Punched, getting a huge damage boost that takes this one-time ability even further, along with easily being able to eliminate multiple zombies lined up together with a single blow to the head. However, its main advantage is its unique Pack-a-Punch ability, which eliminates the random bullet deflection that most snipers get when shooting from the hip, it offers 100 percent hipfire accuracy.
