Pokemon Legends: ZA players have found a way to shiny hunt multiple Alpha Pokemon at the same time in Wild Zone 20. Between Pokemon Legends: ZAs glitch duplication glitch and the early shiny hunting method in Wild Zone 3, the game is incredibly popular with fans of shiny animals because of how easily they can be found. The most popular blank hunting methods are:
-
Bench reset (benches are on Pokemon Legends: ZAs interactive map)
-
Despawn Run (runs 70m away from the target and then 50m towards it)
-
Flying method (repeatedly flies to a location, restores all Pokemon within a 50m radius)
-
The door method (this only works for shiny Pokemon in Legends: ZAs Wild Zone 3)
-
Fossil recovery (buy 10+ fossils and revive them, then close the game if nothing shiny appears)
Still, the community is finding even more creative methods of shiny hunting, such as the “ghost walk method,” which only works with a turbo controller in Wild Zone 20. Now, a new method has surfaced online that allows players to collect up to six Alpha Pokémon in the middle of Wild Zone 20 and repeatedly reset them for shiny odds.
How to Shiny Hunt Up to 6 Alpha Pokemon at once in Pokemon Legends: ZA
The method was reportedly found by a Discord user named EagleBMW, and was then explained in detail and given more attention by well-known YouTube creator Austin John Plays. To have Pokemon Legends: ZA's Shiny Charm helps find these Alphas faster. The process has several steps:
-
Get aggro from both Alpha Pokémon at the base of the tower in Wild Zone 20, then lead them to the creek facing north.
-
Exit Wild Zone 20 and save immediately, then close and restart the game.
-
Go back inside Pokemon Legends: ZAs Wild Zone 20, get aggro from the Alpha Pokémon near the stream, then lead them towards the north gate. Then exit the gate, save and restart the game.
-
Walk away from the gate, about 60m (which can easily be calculated by putting a pin on the map where the gate is), then save and restart.
-
Run back to the gate, check if both alphas are still there, then enter the area and go to the center without going past 70m from the gate while keeping aggro from the previous two alphas. Under the tower there should be two more Alpha Pokemon. Get aggro from them, then lead both these two and the previous two to the creek facing north.
-
At this point, rinse and repeat the previous steps until all four Alpha Pokémon are at the gate, then get their aggro as well as that of one or two more Pokémon that appear under the tower, and repeat the steps until all five or six Alphas are at the gate, then save.
-
Get knocked out by the Alpha Pokemon, then go back to Wild Zone 20 and check if all the alphas are under the tower. If so, shiny hunt as preferred with the typical methods.
After securing five or six Alpha Pokémon at the base of the tower in Wild Zone 20, players can then safely hunt in Pokemon Legends: ZA. However, it's worth noting that Alpha Pokémon collected using this method will change until a Shiny appears, which will lock both the species and the Shiny in place even if players continue to reset the others.
Given that some of the best Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: ZA spawn in Wild Zone 20, players have decent odds of finding at least one or two of them as shinies. Also, some of the available Alphas and their respective shinys can be quite a pain to find on a regular basis, like Eelektross, Skarmory, and the various Eeveelutions.
