One Piece has already revealed Davy Jones' true heir

One Piece is currently in the Elbaf arc, and the particular part of the arc that Oda is exploring is most certainly a very important one. Right now, the story is diving deeper and deeper into Loki's Flashback, which has unsurprisingly introduced fans to the legendary pirate they've always wanted to see, Rocks D. Xebec.

As fans know, Rocks was a monstrously powerful fighter, and defeating him was no easy task even for Roger. Now Ods has revealed a strong connection between Rocks D. Xebec and yet another legendary pirate who is also Blackbeard's ancestorand it is Davy Jones.

Blackbeard is from The Rock's D. Family

When Rocks D. Xebec was first shown to fans in One Piece chapter 1154, fans could immediately tell that there was a strong connection between him and Blackbeard. This was pretty clear to see just from his face, but for those who would only be confused, Oda dropped the title box for Rocks, clearly stating that he was Rocks very own son. Even before this was officially confirmed, fans suspected that Rocks was Blackbeard's father. After all, Blackbeard's ship was named the Saber of Xebecand he also has the same dream as him.

One Piece chapter 1155 showed fans what Rocks really wanted, and that's the same thing Teach wants too. It sends that Teach really studied what Rocks was doing and what he wanted. Now, Blackbeard aims to get all this for himself as the successor to the Rocks.

Rocks was a worshiper of Davy Jones

Davy Jones was a real pirate in one piece

When it comes to Rocks himself, fans know that he acted like a total badass for the world government, and he even wanted to usurp Imu and become the king of the world. But this ambition did not arise without reason. Rocks had one person to watch out for, and that was Davy Jones. Rocks is a descendant of Davy Jones. He carries the will of Davy Jones and that is most likely why he became the king of Pirate Island, and also why he became as dangerous as he was.
