The blonde haired character is a staple in life and the media. In anime, this is even more so, as hair color goes a long way in a character's personality. When a blonde character is introduced, they are usually expected to be happy and optimistic. They can also be described as dorky, but that's certainly not the case with all of them.

Lalatina Ford Dustiness, AKA Darkness (KonoSuba)
Part of a good comedy routine
KonoSuba features two of the most iconic female characters in the isekai genre: Megumin and Aqua. Completing the trio is Darkness, and she is generally the least popular member of Kazuma's party. Part of that perception has to do with her masochistic traits, which dominate her character traits in the first two seasons. Fortunately, Lalatina is at the center KonoSuba season 3, which allows her to show more dimensions of her personality than was previously the case.
Ultimately, Darkness is the most forgettable core character in the series, though KonoSubas popularity ensures that she remains a poster child for the isekai genre as a whole. Being the worst of a large group is nothing to be ashamed of, and she still has plenty of funny moments that make the most of her unique preferences.

Seras Victoria (Hellsing Ultimate)
She adapted to her newfound abilities
Sera Victoria was a normal policewoman suddenly faced with a difficult choice: cling to her humanity and die of her wounds or become a vampire and therefore abandon her humanity. She chooses the latter, but she refuses to let go of the compassion that made her human.
Initially naive as a young vampire, fans watch as Victoria grows into a confident character who can accept who she is while still holding onto a sense of morality. In a world of strife and struggle, Victoria continues to forge her own path, charting the course she wants.

Your lie in April has the reputation it has today largely thanks to Kaori. As a character, she was a strong personality who was able to move forward despite what life had thrown at her. But she was still deeply human and prone to error and even discouragement.
Saddest Anime Character Deaths, Ranked
Here's a look at some heartbreaking deaths in anime, along with reasons why fans will never forget them.
Kaori is iconic in how she was able to change Arima Kousei's life. She was able to bring him out of a deep well he had been in since his mother's death, and her cheerful attitude to life stood in stark contrast to Arima's gloom. It was ironic that she was the one fighting against the hands of time, and by the end of the story she had broken many hearts.
Riza was indispensable to Mustang
Full metal alchemist has a surprising number of iconic blondes. Even when it comes to just women, Winry Rockbell and Olivier Armstrong are two incredibly popular blonde anime characters. That said, Riza manages to stand out for her personality and skill.
There's a lot to admire when it comes to Riza, but what really catches the eye is her calm demeanor and her incredible loyalty to Roy Mustang. It was even more impressive because she never looked inferior to Roy while still always being by his side. Additionally, she was a skilled marksman and an empathetic character.

Maka Albarn (Soul Eater)
A rare Shonen female protagonist who is all kinds of awesome
Due to its targeting of teenage boys, shonen rarely features female protagonists, despite some of the most famous anime girls coming from the demographic. Consequently, Soul Eater's Maka Albarn really shines among her peers as a unique lead, even though her personality is pretty typical of a shonen MC. She is loud, sassy, confident, kind and energetic. Maka may play the role of a jerk at times, but she's no jerk and regularly gets the better of her enemies (and companions).
Maka shares the spotlight with Soul, her much more immature weapon of death. Together, they make an entertaining and deadly duo, and Maka just looks amazing wielding Soul like a scythe. We need more shonen anime with female characters as protagonists, just to shake things up.

Violet was raised as a weapon of war, harboring only instincts to kill and destroy. As such, when she loses everything and finds herself unable to even construct speech, one might have thought that would be the end. However, Violet was determined to grow so she could understand what it was to love.
Violet is an anime character that is impossible to forget. Much of this is due to her amazing design. Yet she is more than that, as her determination to learn is something that made her a very likable character. She made it so that her metal hands, skilled in destruction, could now be the creators of comfort, peace and love.

Misa Amane (Death Note)
Misa is inspiring in a very different way
Misa Amane became a major character in Death Note much later in the series. As a celebrity who also had the Shinigami eyes, she became an accomplice to Kira and Light's romantic partner (not that he actually cared for her). Manipulated to the end, she could not understand a world without light, which led her to end everything after his passing.
As a character, Misa is memorable because of her undying loyalty to a clearly evil person. Behind the curtain, however, was an idealist who wanted a better world. She may not be a role model in the strict sense, but she is iconic as a warning about the dangers of losing yourself through devotion.
6
Tsunade (Naruto)
An incredible Kuniochi and a capable leader
Naruto led by one iconic blondebut Naruto doesn't qualify, despite his mastery of gender-bender jutsu. However, Tsunade stands as one of the most identifiable characters from the show, which is no easy feat since the anime's cast is filled with almost exclusively memorable characters. Compared to most others anime female blondesTsunade is much more mature and experienced, being in her 50s during the main series.
Tsunade has been through a lot of pain and suffering, and she is well acquainted with loss. While we primarily see her as the Fifth Hokage, a role she takes on reluctantly but excels at, we are given flashbacks to her younger days detailing her struggles and successes.
5
Oshino Shinobu (Monogatari series)
A deeply complex and fascinating character
Oshino Shinobu used to be the powerful vampire, Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, who is a mouthful, but after losing her powers, she first lived in the ruins of Eikou cram school, before becoming Araragi's shadow. She's a character that takes some getting used to, but she's brilliant once you get the hang of it.
Monogatari: 5 Best Heroines, Ranked
Among handful of Monogatari heroines, who stands tall above the rest?
She first appeared in Bakemonogatari but was also featured in other posts in Monogatari series, above all Kizumonogatari. She has a complicated relationship with Araragi and is quite a fun tsundere character. Her character arc, which spans multiple stories, is compelling, and that's one of the reasons she's such a popular character.
4
Lucy Heartfilia (Fairy Tail)
Fairy Tail's true protagonist
Lucy is the character from Fairy Tail through whom the story is actually told. Usually overshadowed by Natsu Dragneel's prominence, many forget how crucial Lucy is to everything. She is perhaps the most powerful celestial wizard in the world with ten golden celestial keys as well as being the entrance of the audience.
Lucy is also a character who grows significantly over the course of the story, starting out as insecure but developing into being much more confident, strong and steadfast. Her bond with Fairy Tail says a lot about what kind of guild they are, seeing how quickly they accepted her as one of their own. She also has some pretty heartfelt moments in the story, and she does a good job of making the audience care about her and her peers.
