One of the most exciting features to come Halo: Campaign Evolved is the fact that the game will have crossplay. This further strengthens the bond between the consoles, as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S they can once again play together in a multiplayer experience, but this time with Xbox's golden mascot. This means that not only players will be able to experience Halo: Campaign Evolved together whether they are on PlayStation, Xbox or PC, but they will also be able to jump in together with a total of 4 players. A campaign spanning 4 Master Chiefs, or a campaign with 2, thanks to couch co-op split screen, means everyone can experience the game!
Three new Prequel missions
A new story arc involving Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson
Halo: Campaign Evolved not only features a faithful remake of the original game's 2001 campaign, but instead adds something new and just as exciting as the ability to play Halo on the PlayStation itself. Players will be able to jump into a three-mission prequel, where they will experience an arc involving the Master Chief and everyone's favorite, Sergeant Johnson. Details on the three missions are scarce, as it's unknown if they're part of the Day One experience, or what the missions actually entail, but it's exciting to know that Chief and Johnson will have their own dangerous feud.

A complete overhaul of audio, visuals, animations and movies
Halo: Campaign Evolved is not just a remake that remasters the old audio files like other remakes do, which instead, Halo: Campaign Evolved decides to renew the entire arsenal to please both ears and eyes. With Halo: Campaign Evolvedplayers can expect brand new visuals, footage and animations thanks to a selection of new motion capture used specifically for the remake. What's even better is that the primary actor Halo: Combat Evolved re-recorded new performances for Halo: Campaign Evolvedwhich includes Steve Downes as Master Chief and Beckie King as Cortana.

The vehicles receive further revisions Halo: Campaign Evolvedas players can now jump into Warthogs that have more than two seats so they can ride around and flip them with friends. However, it does not end there. Players can now hijack enemy rides and pilot Wraiths, allowing them to create a sandbox of chaos against the Covenant. These vehicles can be destroyed, hijacked and used to have tremendous fun.

Halo: Campaign Evolved ensures replayability in its campaign with the addition of Skulls, which can be used to add deeper challenges through modifiers to the game's design, along with randomization of weapons, enemies and environments.
