Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a very brilliant game, just gets better when the time goes by thanks to a new update that comes to the game in the near future. However, Sandfall Interactive can not only work on Expedition 33 forever, and the conversation has slowly shifted to what the studio will post next after such a sludge can of a debut title.
Although we have not had anything concrete, Sandfall has previously said that it does not plan to abandon Clair Obscur franchise soon, and now in a new interview it is claimed that the work on the next game has already begun. This comment came from Sandfall CEO and Expedition 33 Creative Director Guillaume Broche in a new interview with PC Games.
CLAIR OBSCUR: Expedition 33 Studio has started working on the next game
After talking about how grateful he is for Expedition 33's success since the launch, Broche claims that the studio is starting to think and work with the next real game “, and that the team has” many very good ideas “right now. He does not give us much more info than that, but he mentions that it will be” very unique and strange.
“We want to do stories like an art house, do crazy projects because we want to make them, and that's the philosophy we want to stick to – especially now because we have so much attention and so much love from the players,” says Broche. “We really don't want to betray it and just do stupid things. We now know how to make games that are good with a smaller team and a really strong vision, and that is what we want to do again.”
I'm pretty sure I speak for most fans when I say that Sandfall has our complete confidence that it will fix something special again, and that it can take it all the time to see it through. Although we do not have a single clue about what the studio's next game will be, I hope we will see some of this war between the painters and the authors mentioned in Expedition 33. Give me the Lore Sandfallet, I want it.
