Palworld Life-Sim Spinoff announced just a few days after Pokopia

Palworld exploded on stage as early as 2024, thanks to a combination of its reputation as “Pokemon with weapons”, but also because it was just a pretty good game. In fact, its reputation may have done more harm than good, as developer Pocketpair is now in a legal struggle with Nintendo on patented mechanics. It is a sticky situation, but one that pocket pair has met.

In fact, you can claim that its actions are currently something Brash, especially with a new Palworld Spinoff title it just announced. Earlier today, PocketPair revealed through its own official Youtube channel that a Palworld spinoff is currently under development entitled Palfarm, and it has a striking resemblance to a couple of Nintendo titles.

Palworld Life-Sim Spinoff announced just a few days after Pokopia

For starters, you will immediately notice that Palfarm almost definitely mimics the animal transition, as the trailer starts with a cattiva talking to the player via a very animal cut-out-esque speech bubble. All that is missing is the strange little composed language that the animal transition has, and it would be one for one. Pocketpair definitely has some stones on it.

When it comes to the game itself, it seems to be a pretty typical life swim. In the trailer we see the player build a city, mining, fishing and cut down trees. There is also a very scary man who threatens to shoot himself, but it would not be a pocket pair game if it was not a clone of a Nintendo game, but with a scary undertone.

Although it would have been impossible for pocket pair to create a game in such a short time, Palfarm looks like a hybrid of animal transition and Pokopia, Pokemon Life-Sim that Nintendo announced in its latest Nintendo Direct. If it wasn't for the Steam Store page that went up after the game's announcement, I would still be convinced that this was a kind of elaborate joke that pockettepair plays.

However, it seems to be real, and somewhere a Nintendo manager woke up probably only in a cold sweat. I put all the jokes aside, I don't think this will have any significance for Pocketpair's current legal battle with Nintendo, although I respect the absolute bile to announce a very clear animal -inspired spinoff throughout the matter.
