Gambling is an engrossing medium where everything from action to horror becomes more affecting and captivating than ever. Therefore, it is easy to see why some NPCs, intended to be scary, end up having a major impact.
Sometimes even NPCs end up who are not intended to be scary players because of how they are implemented in the game. Regardless, NPCs who are either intentionally scary or otherwise will leave the fans shaking in their boots.
Dr. John H. Watson
Without a hiking animation teleporting and shocking players every time
Watson is Sherlock's reliable sidekick that helps him in his investigation time and time again. He also did not have a wandering animation in the original release of Sherlock Holmes: NemesisWhich resulted in one of the most unnecessary recurring moments in a video game.
Watson would magically teleport close to the player as they continued in his investigation, which led to him showing up from nowhere and shocking players. It is a genuine Jumpscare that turned Watson into one of the scariest games -NPCs in no time.
Jackbakers
The entire Baker family made the Re7 frightening than ever
The Baker family is one of the most worrying groups in horror playing history. Nowhere is the horror of this seemingly immortal family personified more than by the patriarch, Jack Baker. He relentlessly chases the player and seems purely unkind sometimes. This makes every hunting scene with this character an upsetting moment because players help Ethan save his wife.
Freddy Fazbear
One of the many frightening animatronics that helped fnaf become legendary
Five nights at Freddy's is one of the best horror games of all time fans can't get enough. Scott Cawthon's Magnum Opus led to the emergence of one of the most legendary horror franchise in game history that continues to dominate pop culture.
Of all the frightening animatronics of this game, it is the iconic Freddy Fazbear that is the most recognizable (and scary) one of the lots. He, along with his colleague Animatronics, loves to scare the night shift's security guards working at Pizzeria.
Alma Wade
A psychian with one leg to pick
FEAR Is loved by many for his fantastic enemy AI, tense firefighting and a fantastic story that cooks in the background. Players are introduced to the threat from Alma Wade, a psychic with a vengeful spirit that adds a waste to everything in the middle.
Between the game's action-packed Set pieces, Alma intermittent arrives to remind players that they play a horror game. Her unnecessary performances turned her into one of the scariest video game characters of all time and for good reasons.
Victor Zsasz
A serial killer that is as chilly as they come
The Arkham Games are full of scary antagonists who have it for Batman, but Victor Zassz is in his own class. This twisted serial killer is no joke and will leave chills into a player's spine when they discover his worrying crafts.
Chases him in Arkham Games are far from pleasant, as players would ideally want to stay as far away as possible from this deteriorated serial killer. But as Batman, it is their responsibility to stop the people who scare the people in Gotham.
Dispel
Trying to overcome this impressive villain is just the beginning of what incry has to offer
Incryption Is one of the biggest indie horror games that fans can check out, with its focus on deck building is surprisingly easy to get in despite the game's oppressive atmosphere. Trying to beat Leshy in this game is easier said than done, with this creepy character that takes players on a great adventure where death can arrive for a moment.
As scary as Leshy can be, he is actually transformed into one of the most delightful characters in the series at the end. It is proof of how well the story in Incryption is that this turn is more than motivated.
Curly
A ship captain whose dissatisfied body is nightmare to see
Mun brushing is a short yet frightening experience that fans will love in no time. Players check both Curly and Jimmy in a story that jumps around before and after the crash of tulips.
Seeing Curly's Mauled Body is unnecessary (especially his bulging eye) and makes it clear why he was chosen to the face of this chilly horror game. But instead of being afraid of him, it is the actions of someone else who is hard to understand and turn him into the true villain of Mun brushing.
Aunt
A person who seems like a nice old witch becomes the source of a player's nightmares in no time
Baldur's Gate 3 are full of memorable characters that fans will love to interact with. A major exception to this rule is Aunt Ethel, who personifies the trop for the seemingly friendly witch in a forest that ends up on a dark side.
Seeing her creepy sight in the flesh is scary enough as it is, but trying to fight this character is even more challenging. This becomes even more difficult if the fans want to save their victim, which causes players to repeat this cooling meeting over and over again until it goes according to plan.
